This nineteenth-century palace in Neo-Renaissance style, close to the Termini Train Station, houses one of the world's most important collections of Classical art. On the four floors of the museum, sculptures, frescoes and mosaics, coins and jewels document the evolution of the Roman artistic culture from the late Republican age through Late Antiquity (2nd c. It was precisely these latter spacious rooms the ones converted by Michelangelo into the Basilica of Saint Mary of the Angels ,this church seen in the movie "The Da Vinci Code" 2004, a masterpiece by Michelangelo.

You would not find another host like Marco Folchi. Marco is a very nice, warm and hospitable host. He would go out of his way to help, help and help! We lost all of our luggage when we arrived at Marco's place. Marco was so nice and helpful to (help us) contact the airlines by speaking his native Italian and also contacting the airlines' head office in German language. His help really made us feel so at home and at ease. His help also solved our luggage problem. The location of Marco's apartment is so close to the Roma Termini and so easy to find. The room is very clean. He also was kind enough to allow us to leave a bag at his place until we finished our tour of Italy. I would highly recommend Marco's place to anyone.
