Paul speaks English fluently and, having been travelling throughout the world, we do enjoy offering guests hospitality, the same way we have been heartily welcome everywhere.
The village, a vine and wine growing comunity (less than 300 inhabitants !), built as an amphitheatre totally surrounded by vineyards, on top of which stands the oratory of « Our Lady of Good Hope », from where one can admire the vineyards, the city of Beaune and beyond, in a unique viewpoint. The XIIth Century Church – coverd with stones and a coloured tile steeple -, the celtic water spring called «The Mother Fountain», the two wash-houses, and Jacques Copeau's manor bear witness to a place rich in history.

Gastronomy is well represented in the village by « Le Charlemagne » Restaurant (1* Michelin Guide) ( closed Thuesday evening and Thursday) , and « La Grappe de Pernand », a nice country restaurant serving typical burgundian dishes ( closed on Monday evening and Thuesday).
You need a car to stay at home : 5 km North of Beaune, access by motorway A6, exit 24 "Beaune Saint-Nicolas - Savigny-les-Beaune".
