The Space

Nice size room with a double bed, desk, bookcase, coffetable and a large wardrobe as well as a TV for when you need to tune out!
The room is in a nice old Copenhagen apartment, wich recently has been renovated with a new kitchen and bathroom.
The place is located in Valby, a nice and airy part of Copenhagen which has a rich life of Cafes and shops.
We are located 50 seconds from valby s-train station and busses, so its is an easy ride of 10min to the Copenhagen Central as well as on a nice sunny day it is walkable. Futhermore Carlsberg brewery is just up the hill and on the other side is Copenhagen ZOO, among to wonderfull parks.
We also have a roofterrace that is perfect for a chill on a hot sunny day with a view of the city or to watch the New Years Eve fireworks all over Copenhagen!
So as this is a room in a bigger apartment then it is possible that you will be sharing the apartment well kithen and bathroom with me/or other airbnb guests.

  • Great host - very clean house with a well stocked kitchen and an awesome rooftop deck, and she was super friendly and helpful!

  • The neighborhood was fantastic, and the rooftop patio would have been awesome if it wasn't cold and raining most of my time there. The room was a little smaller than I expected, but functional and the bed was comfortable. Heidi was very nice and even made me a Danish dinner one night! We didn't interact a ton, but it was comfortable when we did.

  • Heidi was a great host who was able to accommodate me in a last-minute reservation. Her cozy apartment is conveniently located just a few blocks from a train station and is a short walking distance from the Copenhagen Zoo. Heidi was available to answer any questions I had about the neighborhood and made sure I had a comfortable stay in her flat. I would definitely stay here again - thank you Heidi!

  • Nice place, perfect location and Heidi is a gentle and helpful host. I stayed 3 nights and I had 3 busy days for a meeting but everything went just smoothly.

  • I rented the room for a 5 days stay. The location was very well suited: near a railway station, near several large parks and with a lot of restaurants and snack-bars in the vicinity. The bedroom has a good bed, large enough for a tall person, although it might be a bit narrow for two people. I could use the kitchen when needed and make some fresh coffee. The bathroom is small but sufficient. The terrace on the roof is a real asset for relaxing in the evening, it is shared by the other apartment owners, and there is a BBQ set on gas. Minor inconvenience : It is an old building with squeaky wooden floors. When I arrived Heidi Petersen has received me and shown me around the apartment, she gave towels for the bathroom (no need to bring these along) and for the remainder is an unobtrusive host, but always reachable. I would certainly consider to rent the same room again.

  • Heidi was there to greet us during our stay and show us around the apt. Her apartment in Valby really made out trip that much better. It's very conveniently located and fully equipped. Very close to public transportation too. I thought the apt. and neighborhood were both charming and I would without a doubt love to stay here again on my next visit to Copenhagen.

  • Lets start with the negative. The room is up five flights of stairs. There is no elevator. That is the end of the negatives. As we arrived Heidi zoomed up to us on her bike and effortlessly helped us get up the stairs. The apartment was, in short, divine. Everything we could have wanted. Simply no complaints. The great thing too for us was that it was a warm couple of nights; and we could sleep happily with the windows beside the bed wide open. It was magical. The bathroom was great and the kitchen superb. Down those stairs were a wide arrange of restaurants - the bigger place, Halifax, was special. The proximity to Valby station made it exceptional. Those stairs, those five flights, were an irritation, but in essence this was a superb place... Loved it, wished I had stayed longer.

  • Heidi is really an amiable and kind person. She helped us to find quickly her cute house. Valby is a steady and pretty district and is really near to city centre. The flat is also near to the station (200m). The room is a classic room but really still and comfy. All was great and magic. No less important the wonderful rooftop where spent the rest of the evening watching the beautiful sky of Copenaghen.
