I have a room available for short-term rental with free toiletries, breakfast, wifi & housekeeping. If requested, I can also arrange airport pick-up/drop-off and transportation in Doha. If I am not being lazy, I can do a tour during the weekend.
While here, I can also arrange for your transportation so you can explore Doha without worrying about the transportation (which is extremely difficult if you don't have a car).
The place is 10 minutes from the airport and is centrally-located so you have easy access to West Bay (financial district) or Downtown Doha (old Doha).
I have done this hosting for some time now and my visitors have been very happy with my accommodation.
Guest has access to the whole villa (living and dining areas, kitchen, outside gym, pool, tennis court, football field).
I am pretty laid back and would be very happy to help as much as I can to make my guest feel comfortable.
My neighborhood is clean, quiet and high standard situated in a compound (subdivision), not by the road where cars or people pass by.
Please do not expect a random cab to pass by infront of my house. Taxis can be hailed a mere 3 minutes walk from my house, by the highway. It can also be arranged in advance (15 minutes - minimum booking time); I can help you with this.
For your convenience, upon arrival you will be given a set of keys for your room, the main door and the gate. You will also be provided with light snack (chips, energy bar and bottled water). There is also a book about Qatar and a map. I also have an Entertainer Dining Book full of Buy 1 - Get 1 Free vouchers if you fancy eating out, which you are free to use.

There was some friendly housemates how shared stories about what to do in the city.
I got a nice travel guide to drive from the airport to the house.
The Wifi was okay to casual surfing but i was kicked off often, so I had got get a local sim card.
First of all.. I want to thank Krissy for accommodating me into her lovely villa although I only booked 2 nights with her you can really feel what we Filipinos are well known for, genuine hospitality.. I want to highlight her concern with her guests. When we had a problem with our transportation due to the traffic caused by the Real Madrid game in Doha, she immediately offered to help us by contacting some cabs that can come pick us up. Thanks for the effort!
I was unable to stay at Krissy's because I could not find it!! I tried contacting her via the airbnb website a few times (before I arrived in Qatar), and also left her messages via email. She never responded to any of them. Her profile had a terrible non-specific map of the area where she lives and the contact phone number she left was turned off. I drove around Doha for 2 hours in a taxi and couldn't reach her to get clarification on where exactly she lived. Many of the taxi drivers are migrant workers who don't really know neighborhoods that don't have hotels in them. So I felt quite helpless. Ultimately, I stayed in a hotel. Krissy only contacted me after I didn't show up. She said her nanny was waiting for me at the airport. If I would have known this in advance, I wouldn't have wasted 2 hours in a taxi cab looking for her place. It seems that she is frequently out of the country and has her nanny takes care of most of her airbnb business. All would have been solved if she followed up with me a day or two in advance of my arrival. She could also provide more specific instructions of where her place is on her airbnb profile. She could also provide a contact number for someone who actually is in Doha so they can help her airbnb clients. Once I missed the reservation, she contacted me and apologized and said how she "assumed" that I would have known about the airport pickup. I don't think anyone should work on assumptions. She should have been very clear with what the procedures are upon my arrival to Doha. This has been the only negative experience I have had with airbnb. I have stayed in places in over 15 countries and this is the first time I have had such trouble. I did not have any trouble being issued a refund either. The hotel I stayed in was more expensive but in a more central location, so it worked out just fine.
