Great location
95% of recent guests gave the location a 5-star rating.
Sitting on nearly two acres of river front land, this tiny cabin is packed with charm. Enjoy the view of the beautiful Siuslaw River out of the large picture windows. This property is the perfect place to unplug from technology and plug into the great outdoors. Relax in the jacuzzi nestled in a grove of mature firs. Wander the orchard and taste the sun ripened seasonal fruits. Bring your fishing pole and catch a fresh salmon for supper. Leave your worries behind and come unwind at the cabin.

The space
Start your day with a fresh pot of coffee made in the provided french press. The cabin is stocked with necessary tools to cook up a delicious meal in the kitchenette, including a mini refrigerator, hot plate, toaster oven, electric skillet, pots, pans, utensils, dishes and glassware. There is a charcoal barbecue, coals not included.

Sleeping accommodations include two options, the couch or cozy sleeping loft. (emphasis on cozy) Dine outside on the patio that overlooks the river or inside on the couch with your favorite dvd playing. Although small, the bathroom offers privacy and a tricky, but warm shower. The electric fireplace sets the mood and warms the cabin up on brisk nights.

Due to severe allergies, we are unable to host ANY animals.

Where you’ll be

Mapleton, Oregon, United States

Located West of Eugene, Brickerville is located less than 3 miles from the town of Mapleton. In Mapleton you will find a small market, gas station, post office, library and a few other small businesses.
Less than 8 miles from the house is the Sweet Creek trail head. A gorgeous hike for all skill levels.
Triangle lake is 16 miles from the house and is the perfect place to cast a line and have a picnic.
Florence is the closest bigger town, approximately thirty minutes from the property. In Florence you will find proper grocery stores, a hospital, Fred Meyer, a bowling alley, several restaurants and a movie theater. Florence is a great old town located on the coast. The beaches are a sight to see, with their large sand dunes and countless pieces of driftwood. It's worth a trip into old town Florence to browse the shops, dine at one of the local restaurants and take in the view of the Siuslaw.

My husband and I bought our Oregon property in 2014. We are both from San Diego, but spent the last several years on the big island of Hawaii. This property spoke to us as soon as we stepped foot on it and we immediately knew we wanted to live here. We are slowly creating our dream retreat on our dream property, remodeling the main house and adding outbuildings throughout. We have four children and a whole herd of grandchildren. Our family is our world. We want to be sure we have room for the whole crew, they know that they're always welcome here. We love to host our friends and extended family as well. There is something very special about this property. The energy is something you must experience for yourself. We enjoy our mornings drinking coffee on the deck overlooking the river. Through the day you can find us pruning our fruit trees, combing the local beaches or working on the latest remodel project. Our evening are spent dining on the back patio, while we birdwatch and cap the night off with a dip in the jacuzzi. We are excited to share our place with guests from near and far. We are optimistic that the property and cabin will be loved by all of our visitors. We have yet to meet a person that doesn't feel the positive energy of this property and recognize how incredibly beautiful our surroundings are. We are truly blessed.
