Great location to see the city of Tucson, newly upgraded kitchen, full amenities.
We have 5 condos in the Coronado Place complex. Four have 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, and one condo has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom.
Our advertised condo, number 6, is a ground floor unit of 1010 square feet. The entry is through an outside patio, and then entry to the condo is available from the patio. Once in, you will be in the open living, kitchen, and dining area. You'll also find a bathroom downstairs along with a washer/dryer unit and a bedroom with a queen bed.
The upstairs has an open loft to the living area. There is a king bed upstairs along with a walk-in closet and a bathroom. There are televisions in the living area as well as in both bedrooms. We also provide secure broadband wi-fi, and telephones with free local and free long distance in the US.
There are 2 heated hot tubs available on campus for your use. One is located across from the condo and the other is at the pool area (about 250-300 feet away). The community swimming pool is not heated, so it is too cold for swimming in the winter as well as part of the spring and fall. There is a small room with some workout equipment at the pool area.
Interaction with Guests
We will provide a lock box at the entry of the condo, and before your arrival we will provide a code for you. We live in Tucson most of the year, and we are available for any questions or concerns via phone, email, and/or in person.
The condo is located in a residential Tucson neighborhood, Udall Park is next door, a small shopping center is a mile away with a large grocery store. Within a couple of miles there is a large choice of excellent restaurants. And Sabino Canyon is less than 5 miles from the complex.
There is a bus system with a stop not far from the complex. But we strongly recommend that you have a car for your use, as Tucson is a very spread-out city, and the public transportation is mediocre at best.
Other Things to Note
No pets, no smoking!
No pets, no smoking. Please be respectful of your neighbors and use common sense. This works well for all of us!!
We were very happy to stay at JC and Carleen's place. It was clean, comfortable, convenient, and better than advertised. The hosts made sure we had everything we needed. If we go back to Tucson we will definitely stay here again. Highly recommended.
JC kept in contact before checking in and during and was extremely kind and informative. The pictures do not do the condo justice. The condo was beautiful, well maintained and had everything you needed. We all felt at home in Tucson. The condo was convenient to local stores and restaurants. The pool was a great touch to our vacation, especially in Tucson's dry heat. They even have a small fitness gym. We had our own parking space, and even a little volleyball net area. All super convenient.
If you're visiting Tucson, I HIGHLY recommend this condo for a happy stay.
My family and I enjoyed our stay at JC and Carleen's condo in Tucson the pictures on this site don't give it's due justice. Everything we needed was in the condo. JC and Carleen were available for any needs, but you'll only email them to say how happy you are with your stay. It was like a mini resort. Thanks JC and Carleen, I'm sure my family will return.
JC and Carleen's condo was absolutely fantastic: bright, spacious, quiet, modern, extremely well equipped (cooking, laundry, cleaning supplies..phone, internet/phone, TVs..). The location was perfect as well; very nice neighborhood in Tucson, close to shopping, hiking trails, mountains and within only 15-20 min of downtown. The condo is also right next to a park, where I could go running everyday.
JC and Carleen proved to be very helpful and understanding of needs; as it was my first time renting through Airbnb, they were willing to show the condo to my mom before I arrived to help assure me. Highly recommended!
Carleen & I moved to Tucson in 1999, opening a bed and breakfast there. Over time we began a business of vacation rentals, and we sold that business in 2008. Now our vacation rentals all belong to us or to our daughter.
We spend our summers in Maine, and we are happy to be able to spend our time in our two favorite places!
