About This Listing
Don't pay $350 to stay in a small hotel room on Michigan Avenue or at the McCormick Center. Treat yourself better when you visit Chicago and stay in a beautiful 1000 sf apartment right in the heart of the city. You deserve it.

The loft is just minutes north of the McCormick Center, three blocks from Grant Park and a block west of Lake Michigan.
Soldier Field - super close. McCormick Center - super close. My apartment is a stone's throw from Museum Row, where you'll find the famed Shedd Aquarium, Adler Planetarium, and the Field Museum (you know, the one with giant dinosaur skeleton). There is easy access to multiple bus and El train lines for exploring other parts of the city.
The loft is a warm, inviting home with 14-foot wooden ceilings. I own the two-bedroom apartment.
The South Loop neighborhood is peaceful, but it’s also hip. There are several choices of restaurants nearby (Sushi, sports bars, tapas, Italian, Mexican, etc.).
*Short walk to McCormick Place along tree-lined streets.
*1 block away are the following buses: #1, #3, #4 and #12.
* Buses will take you to all subway and El lines.
* It is an easy walk into the loop area and to the subway, El lines.

Interaction with Guests
I am happy to communicate as much as my guest needs, but also give them ample space to explore the city on their own.
The South Loop is peaceful, close to the Lake and Museum Row. It is more family-oriented than some other neighborhoods, and those are easily accessible via the El, a bike, or car ride.
Please treat my house with respect, as if it were your own.
It's a real fantastic apartment in a very nice and calm neighborhood, the apartment is also in a recently renovated old building which reflects the typically Chicago warehouse architecture.
Everything was prepared and the communication with Louis was very professional upon the detail. He had suggested some quite good restaurants that we have visited without any disappointment.
From the apartment you could visit everything on walking distance although the public transport is quite easy to use and taxis every second.
To us it has been an awesome 4 days which we will never forget. Thanks Louis for the perfect accommodation.
We had a warm welcome from Louis, who was in the apartment at the time we arrived. We got great suggestions on food, travel and sightseeing. The apartment was very nice. The neighborhood was also great. We had a great time staying in the apartment! The next time in Chicago we will definitely think of this place!
We had some unique challenges with arrival, but Louis did his best to get them smoothed out for us. The apartment was very comfortable and easy to feel at home in.
Could not say enough as to how helpful Louis was. He provided us with a detailed list of information, including local Resturants and places to visit also everything you need to know on transportation in the area.
Excellent information how how to enter the apartment and things to know. He also provided parking. Very rare in a city where it is expensive.
As to his place, just like being home. Cozy, comfortable , inviting. Loved it.
We will definitely be a repeat and suggest Louis to our friends.
Louis is very friendly and accomodating. His apartment was clean, comfortable, roomy, quiet and well situated (4 blocks from McCormick Place).
