Bunny & Ted are fantastic hosts who welcomed us into their home with open arms. They both are absolutely lovely people who we genuinely enjoyed meeting and learning about their story. Each morning we awoke, we were greeted with bright smiles and a gourmet breakfast. The home itself is spectacular and eclectic from an architectural standpoint. You will love staying here and meeting Bunny & Ted.
Bunny and Ted Ruben, and their wonderful house and hospitality made our visit to Boulder the very best it could be. The house is amazing. Our rooms were private and comfortable. Breakfasts were first rate. But most of all, Bunny and Ted are simply the most generous hosts you might imagine. They welcomed us as though we were family but gave us plenty of privacy. Of course, the view is excellent. And it's only a very short drive from town. If you're a hiker, the trail heads are very nearby. Planning to visit Boulder? Stay here!
Let me start by saying Bunny and Ted are easily two of the most incredible people I've met in my life. They welcomed us with open arms even though my flight was delayed late into the night. The home was one of the most amazing houses I've ever been to in my life with an amazing views and rooms upon rooms of paintings and sculptures personally created by Bunny or their son. The steam shower and the view off of the balcony were my two favorite parts of the house itself. Even though my 3 friends and I came for a wedding, we can honestly say spending time with Bunny and Ted was our favorite part of the trip. Breakfasts were amazing, but the rich conversations with them were the highlight. Not only did they have amazing stories, but they also took great interesting in getting to know us. I will never forget this trip because of my time with them and I can say that I will always choose to stay here every time I come back to Colorado.
First time using AirBNB. Hosts were gracious, caring, trustworthy... Can't say enough positive things! Not sure which was better; the homemade french toast or the banana and almond pancakes with perfect hot coffee!! The steam shower was a delightful surprise after being in the car all day traveling, and on our feet the next day at a wedding and dinner. If you are thinking of booking a stay, don't hesitate, just do it. You won't regret it....you don't have to pack towels or a coffee pot as Bunny laughed telling me. We must be newbies!!
Bunny is an angel. She is full of life, light, love and kindness. Our family's trip to Boulder became more about Bunny and Ted than exploring the town (though we did make time for both:). Delicious meals were spent listening to wonderful stories and sharing ideas. We could have spent many more hours at their table. The house is 100% unique, an architectural feat filled with interesting artifacts in every direction. We felt so welcomed. It was very hard to leave. Thank goodness for people like these in the world that they may inspire us to engage and do good things.
What a great place with even better owners. Bunny and Ted were such gracious and respectable hosts throughout my stay. I really enjoyed the deep intellectual conversations over breakfast before heading out for the day. They were able to assist on what would be a few things to check out around town along with great places to eat and sightsee. The only thing more remarkable then their hospitality would their amazing house. When I go back to Boulder I will definitely be staying here again.
Where do I begin to share an experience that was beyond words, or description? Bunny and Ted are the quintessential hosts. They stayed up late to welcome me after a late arrival at the Denver airport, offered tea and delightful conversation. The next morning imagine waking in a room where you can see the foothills of the Rockies, surrounded by Ponderosa Pines, including one reaching to the sky through the roof. Delicious, organic breakfasts coupled with conversations that run the gamut of possibilities. Bunny & Ted are definitely progressive thinkers, deeply involved in community, and make a difference in everyone's life they meet. Each day they offered great recommendations of events and places to visit. Their home is unique, warm and full of love - just like the two of them. We will definitely be back to Boulder, and as far as we are concerned, the only place to stay is with Bunny & Ted.
