My stay with Bunny and Ted was a most enjoyable experience. Both B&T are welcoming, helpful, spirited and positive people. Their unique home is a work of art, and is filled with art as well. Their breakfasts were extraordinary, and the morning conversations were a great way to start the day. Attractions around Boulder were easy to get to by car.
My boyfriend and I stayed at Bunny and Ted's home for two nights and it was the highlight of our trip to Colorado. Their home is so beautiful and full of the most amazing art created by Bunny herself and their three children. We didn't get to spend too much time with Bunny and Ted, but wish we could have seen them more! They are both incredibly kind and interesting. Some of the most welcoming and warm people I know!
We didn't have a car while in Boulder, but we were able to explore the city from this location. There were a few hiking paths right next to their home and it only took about 40 minutes to hike down into downtown Boulder along a trail.
We would love to stay with them again if we go back to Boulder!
My experience with Ted and Bunny could not have been better. I am so happy we chose to stay here! My boyfriend and I felt more than welcomed by Bunny and Ted, and we were drawn by the beauty and personality of their home. Bunny and Ted are very active in their local community- taking classes at the local university, attending photography seminars, participating in musical groups. They were even gracious enough to invite us to a lecture at the Dairy Center for the Performing Arts, and told us about several events that were happening in the area during our stay. They also have a very friendly and loving cat, who we enjoyed meeting too! Their home is surrounded by beautiful hiking trails and mountains, and is very comfortable and peaceful for sleeping at night. I found Bunny and Ted to be two of the kindest souls that I have ever met, and I really hope to see them again next time I'm in Boulder!
We joined Airbnb because when we travel, we want to do more than just stay in hotels. We want to experience the culture and the only way to truly do that is to meet the locals.
Bunny & Ted, were lovely hosts. They filled us in on the must see places and even supplied maps.
In the morning, they provided us with a satisfying breakfast and encouraged us to be on our way to explore the culturally rich area of Boulder.
Their original, eclectic home was a literal feast for the eyes; filled with Bunny's paintings and the art work of their talented children.
The set of rooms we stayed in were comfortable. I wasn't sure from the photos what the layout was going to be like. We pretty much had our own cozy suite. There are two rooms on either end with a private bathroom & study/office in the center. Since there were only two of us, we used the second room to stage the suitcases and the office to download the photos from our travels on to our laptop.
We so enjoyed our stay in their magical home without corners and are so pleased to have met Bunny & Ted. They added to the experience of our wonderful vacation.

Sometimes it is the people you encounter that makes the listing! This is the case with Bunny and Ted. We felt like we were allowed in to a magical, highly intelligent and talented family. Memories were made! It should also be noted that within a quarter mile of the property there is an open space hiking area in the hills above Boulder. Gorgeous views inside and out! Lovely experience all around.
The picture of this unusual home reveals a very small part of our stay. The room was adequate for our needs and comfy. The history of its creation was fascinating The art work of Bunny and her son was fascinating; it was like being in a museum with our own personal docent. The BEST part, however, were our hosts. Gracious, accommodating and interesting. We all had so much in common it was almost scary. We could have stayed "home" and chatted the entire day. Great location, great area and GREAT people. Will certainly be returning.
