Come and share my lovely house close to Lake George, High Peaks, Vermont, Restaurants, Stores, easy access to Northway 87 & Rt 9. see fbk Anna's B&B. I will give you a healthy, full breakfast. It is quaint and cozy w/ comfortable beds, fireplace, piano, woods, small lake, canoe, trails and advice. My garden is bird and butterfly friendly with native plants, herb/flower lawn and biodiversity. I am also open to long term rentals especially in fall, winter, and early spring. Price negotiable.

The space

This site features the Master Bedroom with a half bath.

The full bath with shower and bathtub is shared with one other guestroom when occupied.

Our comfortable house has two bedrooms upstairs. The Master bedroom has a king-sized bed and 1/2 bathroom, and our "train room" two twin beds, and a common bathroom with bathtub/shower. Downstairs is a pull-out couch that can sleep two in the den and a long sofa in the living room, and a half bath.

Downstairs you will also find an open living room/dining room with grand piano, a warm fireplace insert and a common kitchen.

Wi-fi is available for your laptops but we have neither TV nor Radio.

We are close to Route 9 which means you can find us easily and reach us even in the winter snow. The nearest stores and restaurants are 4 miles away. Our lake is a 10 minute walk away. The canoe is a 20 minute walk as it is at the other end of the lake.

We would love to share our home with you. WELCOME!

Guest access

You have access to all the main living areas.
Your private sphere is very important to me, so you are in good hands, no matter what.
Please send me a message if you have any special requests.

Interaction with guests

I usually always welcome my guests. In special cases I will communicate how to access the house and arrange anything needed beforehand.

Other things to note

Dinner: when available and on prior reservation, our native American Neighbors offer an evening meal, a tipi experience and/or a Sweat Lodge.

Breakfast: I serve a breakfast and try to accommodate all tastes and needs and times. I try to have everything organic and GMO free with lactose and gluten free items available. Please let me know in advance if you have any dietary restrictions you might have.

Your comfort is my priority which is well reflected in my ratings.

We recently had an ongoing famous pianist who needed to play piano on my Blüthner for 3-4 hours a day. Things like this are a special treat to me and also to other guests. I always inform additional guests of any special happenings. We also have regular exciting events that take place to which all my guests are invited for free.

Anna is a gracious host and cleans a very clean place. She shared her love of butterflies with us. She also accommodated my gluten and made delicious blueberry pancakes. I will definately return if I am in the area.

My partner and I's stay at Anna's airbnb was fantastic. The accommodations were quiet, clean, and met all our expectations. She is a great cook and her breakfast every morning was a wonderful way to start off each day. Anna had other guests over during our time and her home made a great place to interact with other interesting and nice people. For anyone looking to stay in the Adirondacks area, we highly recommend staying here.

Anna was so kind and welcoming; such a gracious host. She went above and beyond to provide her expertise on the surrounding areas, hikes, and events. And breakfast came with fresh picked mushrooms and fruits/condiments from local farmers. Wonderful experience, thank you, Anna.

Anna was an amazing host, very easy to talk to, and very attentive. Breakfast was lovely, and Anna was able to tell us about local farms where she gets ingredients from which makes it even more special. This bed and breakfast really makes you feel at home, and it's very comfortable. It was my first time using airbnb and it was the best experience, so much so, it has made me want to give up on hotels all together and continue to use airbnb wherever I go.

Anna was very friendly, concerned about my needs and comfort, and made sure that I enjoyed my stay in her home. The location is great for exploring the Adirondack area, and Anna has all kinds of information about what to see and do, and gave me some great tips for places to visit. The accommodations are as described and comfortable, in a safe country area, and Anna provides breakfast with many delicious options to start your day. I would stay with Anna again if I am in the area and recommend her place.

I am a world traveled woman, speak English and German, some French, and know many of the secrets and wonders of the Adirondack Park in Summer and Winter. In order to see the world, its people, cultures, religions, philosophies, I invite them here. Everyone is welcome. I love sharing and good conversations about everything. If you need lots of quiet time alone this is also the perfect place. Also check out my Page (Anna's B&B) and feel free to contact me there anytime.

Don't expect a sterile hotel. This is my home, inherited from my parents, filled with signs of their life in many countries. My father was a diplomat in Europe, South America and Asia. I love sharing my space, garden, little lake and canoe. I love to send you off on your day's adventures with a good hearty breakfast.
