  • Francis' apartment was perfect for our Melbourne getaway - centrally located, with cafés, restaurants, markets, shops, bars and transport all within easy walking distance. The apartment itself was super comfortable, with all amenities, and a chic and arty interior to keep it quirky and interesting (especially loved the record collection!). I felt like I was staying at a friends house, not a strangers. Francis left us clear instructions, some Myki tickets to reuse, a useful map of Melbourne, as well as our own set of mini-toiletries to make us feel welcome and taken care of. Well priced, friendly communication and overall highly recommended! We will be back!

  • We had a great stay at Francis' apartment. Great creative space, well equipped and fabulous location. Great organisation and communication. We left something valuable in the apartment by mistake, and Francis quickly responded and posted it back to us asap. Thanks Francis.

  • As described in previous reviews, Francis' apartment is in a perfect location. You can walk most anywhere, take the free streetcar, or or any other form of public transit. It is a spacious one bedroom affording one some extra room, though it would be nice to have a few empty drawers or open closet space. There is a well equipped kitchen where we did prepare several small meals. The large flat screen TV is great for watching Footy (my first experience), but I recommend repairing or replacing the non-functional remote. When I'm traveling I like to take a mid-afternoon break each day, and this apartment lends itself to this. Francis is flexible with check-in/check-out. The apartment could have been cleaner. Overall, I recommend this apartments for its location and the fact it is a dedicated one bedroom in a great location.

  • Francis was very responsive to my e mails and calls. He even agreed to accept a package for me prior to my arrival. He was very generous and friendly. The location was very convenient with a great little shop downstairs.

  • We had a great time at Francis' apartment! The place has the feel of a New York artist's flat, full of original art, music, books, quirky design touches. It is super central and ideally located for exploring Melbourne, even on foot. The building's pool / jacuzzi area is a nice extra feature, one of the little luxuries that can make a big difference. Francis has been an exemplary host, very friendly and welcoming. He checked us in late at night and gave us lots of tips about local places to see and do -which we are very glad to have "discovered"! We would warmly recommend Francis' apartment to anyone wanting to experience Melbourne with a bit more of a personal touch.

  • Great host, great vibe!

The apartment was amazing! The art, the music, the area - everything coupled together to create a great atmosphere.

The facilities available were first-class - especially the pool, which we took advantage of!

Thanks for a great stay! Highly recommended.

  • I cannot fault anything to do with this inner city apartment and simply cannot recommend it enough! Francis was a delight to deal with and made checking in and out a breeze.

Everything was within walking distance, making the location five stars. The apartment was fully stocked with everything we could imagine we would need and the lap pool and gym made for very nice extras.

The apartment itself was stunning. A contemporary design within a historic building and filled with beautiful art by Francis. The experience hands down encapsulates what airbnb travel can offer over hotel accommodation.

Thanks so much Francis. I'll definitely be recommending the apartment to anyone traveling to Melbourne and hopefully I will be back to stay sometime soon!
