100% Vegetarian house. No meat no fish... and no smoking...Please, follow this flow !
We had a wonderful stay at the vegetarian house with crazy Nyoman and Koma!
They were really welcoming and ready to help! Lovely!
the house is wonderful, in the middle of the rice fields; such a view when you wake up...
Nyoman and Koma taught us how to cook vegetarian balinese food, it was just great!!
We highly recommend this house if you want to be near Ubud (15 minutes driving from Ubud) but without the noise of the city. Just don't be afraid of spiders and others bugs but there are mosquito nets all around the beds.
The patio outside the house is great for breakfast, lunch or dinner.
The bathroom, with two showers, one outside, one inside, is amazing!
Just go there!
Thanks Jaime, Nyoman and Koma!!!!
Jaime was a very wonderful, kind, and understanding host. The house is beautiful and we enjoyed our stay. It is a 15 min scooter ride into central Ubud which is a really great city for art, restaurants, and the seeing the monkey forest. I would recommend staying here.
Very nice, but basic house between Dschungel and Ricefields. Lot's of lovely people surround. Nothing for people who fear the nature.
I stayed at Jaime's beautiful house for a month. I loved every minute of it. I woke up every morning to panoramic rice field view from the bedroom. Got inspired to write a lot in the early mornings. I took a swim in the pool after lunch on most days. The house was fully equipped with cooking facilities. And it was nice to eat in the outdoor dining area. I also enjoyed taking showers in the outdoor bathroom.
The staff at the house were some of the nicest Balinese people that I have met. Housekeeper Komang doubled as my ojek (motorbike taxi driver) when I needed a ride to Ubud or other nearby locations. She and another housekeeper, Ketut, cleaned the house, the pool and the common area six days a week. Komang also helped me improve my Bahasa Indonesian by chatting with me.
I only got a chance to chat with Jaime briefly a couple of times. I hope I get a chance to meet him again next time I am in Bali.
The neighbors on the compound were extremely kind. The older Japanese couple even threw me a farewell party. We had so much fun even with language barriers. They were the kindest people that I have met.
Thank you for letting me stay in this beautiful house.
We spent 1 month in Jaime's beautiful house. From the time we arrived everything was amazing.. the location in the rice fields, the 2 cats who regularly came to stay with us, the good vide inside the house, and the staff and neighbours who are all very kind and caring people who immediately helped us feel at home. We also had the pleasure to meet Jaime who is a great host and both through e-mail and in person.
If you are looking to spend time closer to nature in a relaxed and stress-free setting, this is a great place. The Ubud center is accessible in 15mins by motorbike.
The reservation was canceled 13 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
I had a fabulous time at Jaime's house.
There is a large rice field right in front of the house where you can see fireflies dancing about at night. The room on the second floor provides an unobstructed view of the field. Gorgeous place.
There is little problem during stay as sweet Nyoman and Koman are always around to help and provide. Lots of coconuts to drink and delicious food prepared by Koman. Koman even provided me with a loving pet cat Simbal!
This place is great for anyone who would like to have some peace and quiet. It is some distance away from Ubud center, so for those who would like to wonder out, you would need to catch a ride on Nyoman's truck, Koman's motorcycle or arrange for a taxi.
