Wander the streets of Bruges It's a bit of a cliché when it comes to 'budget tips', but it really is difficult to think of a city nicer to wander around for a few hours than Bruges. It would be nice if you left the house the way you found it, we are not a hotel-service, but this is our house.

We only stayed with Philip for one night but could have definitely stayed a week or more. Philips place was perfect and except as described. He was very responsive and made us feel at home.
From booking to arrival Philip was responsive by text! The house was in a great location and was easy to reach via the bus from the train station! Philip had left tips on places to visit to make the most of the time in Bruges. The house was interesting with a lot of space! The views from the upstairs were also interesting. This is a big space more suited to a group of people rather than a couple.
We had a fantastic five night stay! I was sorry that we were unable to ever meet up with Philip in person, but were able to talk and communicate via text. He worked around our cancelled and delayed flights without any problem. He is extremely accommodating and helpful and always available to help answer questions. He also arranged for a taxi to take us to the train station on the day we left. The apartment is in an absolutely perfect location. It is minutes from all the tourist areas but just far enough away so that you do not have the constant tourist noise. And, most importantly, you feel more like a local. Philip had a ton of guide books and recommendations for restaurants, bars and attractions. He certainly wants you to experience beautiful Bruges. My only complaint would be a need for a dust pan so that I did not leave behind the evidence of how many meringues we consumed!!!! We would certainly stay again.
Philip was quite welcoming, and the apartment was wonderful and located right in the heart of the city of Brugge. It was quiet and comfortable, and we look forward to staying here again some time. It was more space than we needed for just my daughter and I, but we loved the charm of the flat. It had everything we needed. I highly recommend staying here. Easy to find and easy access to all the sites.
The flat was absolutely perfect! Nice quiet surroundings, 5 min walk to The Markt, 2 min walk to the Fish Market. Philip was a great host, very helpful with local things to do. Four of us stayed for a long weekend and were very comfortable and all really enjoyed the flat. Anyone who enjoys art and design is sure to love, there are some amazing photos to explore in the ground floor studio. Would definitely recommend and would 100% stay again the next time we visit Bruges! :)
Our stay was amazing!!! The house a little big for just the two of us, but it was nice and warm at night despite the cold outside. Philip is kind and gave us tips, and even helped us for getting to the train station. We are very pleased and definetely come back to the house when we return to Bruges (hope it happens soon!)
Thanks a lot!!!

The apartment is in a quiet and charming part of the old city, as described. It's clean and functional, with various small additions that show Philip values being an accommodating host. Low beams and a cramped staircase are something to watch out for if you're tall, but it wasn't a problem. Very responsive and attentive host, I would gladly stay again.
