The house is located in a very quiet area at about 10 minutes from the city center. It is a very ancient farmhouse where two families lived and grew the lands. It was like a garden and you could enjoy the passion for their work. You are welcome!
The house is situated in a quiet and suggestive, picturesque country spot very near the city center, about 1,5 km (20 minutes walk) with private car parking. Also it is well served by several buses to the city center. It is very near to the "Certosa di Firenze", Piazzale Michelangelo, Porta Romana, Poggio Imperiale, The Astrophysical Observatory of Arcetri. The apartment is set in typical country house with a beautiful view on the Florentine hills.
This apartment "La mimosa" is at the ground floor and it is for 7 guests: three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a spacious living room (with two comfy sofas) with a beautiful dining table made of crystal and marble. The kitchen corner is well furnished. There are 3 bedrooms: In the "Yellow Bedroom" there is a double bed. In the master "Pink Bedroom" there is a double bed and in the "Green Bedroom" there are two single beds. It is quite warm in winter a cool in summer. The big bathroom includes a glass enclosed shower a toilet, a bidet and a washbasin. The second bathroom is the hallway next to the big one and includes a shower, a toilet, a bidet and a wash basin.
It is very spacious,about 120 square meters and is located in a peaceful area, not far the bustling Florence city center. There is a parking space with the apartment, so for anyone driving we can make that available to you as well at no additional price. The buses are very frequent (almost every ten minutes) and all take you to the city center and to Florence main railway station in less than 10 minutes. So you don't need to go with your car! If you love walking, you can reach the city center in about 20 minutes!
Local taxis are readily available! Fares no more than 20 Euros from Florence airport.
Local buses “Vola in Bus” run regularly between Florence airport and the city centre.
Inexpensive local train service with Trenitalia between Pisa Airport and Florence
Car hire available in Florence with different companies.
There are shuttle buses connecting Florence airport and Florence train station (Santa Maria Novella – S.M.N) with departures about every half hour. You can choose between two companies “Terravision” or “Vola in Bus”. The “Vola in Bus” service is run by the local Florence bus company and tickets cost around 5 euros. The journey takes about less 30 minutes. You can also catch a taxi to Florence and the trip costs around 20 euros depending on how much luggage you have.

There is a big garden, a parking lot and fields. A lot of space for all.
There is a beautiful view on the typical Florentine landscape. There is a very big garden where you can relax, enjoy the cool night breezes off of the Tuscan hills, and at the same time enjoy all what Florence has to offer! Just a short walk down the hill and a 10 minute bus ride through ancient Roman arches into the heart of the city! From here you can hear the solemn chimes of the bells of Florence cathedral Santa Maria del Fiore!

We like to welcome our guests personally and we are very pleased to help them to discover the town.
There is a lot of privacy as the property belongs to our family. As for the neighborhood they are wonderful people, very discreet and respectful. You will appreciate the quietness and the mild breeze of spring of this place just outside the bustling Florence!
The Galluzzo neighborhood is in itself wonderful. It is not touristy but everything authentically Italian everywhere. There are some local cafes, coffee bars, restaurants, pizzerias, boutiques with good prices, and a big new supermarket. There is a daily open air market at the end of the road, every day except Sunday. Well worth a visit!
The area is well served by a good bus service. There are three bus routes very often (every 5-10 minutes) that takes you to the city center in less than ten minute. There are two supermarkets, Coop and Esselunga, which you can reach in less than ten minutes walk or by car as well.
The parking is included with no extra charges.
The city center is well served by a nice bus service from the airport to the city center at low price and also by taxi (20 euros). Please ask us if you need a ride ! We are happy to help you. In the nearby there several restaurants, cafes, pizzerias, one McDonald's restaurant, a nice market place, supermarket and other kinds of shop such as several bakeries, greengrocers and chemists.
Smokers are welcome but please avoid to smoke in the house.
Don't hang the washing inside the apartment.
We love pets but they are not allowed in the house.
Please keep clean and tidy.
If you leave the house, please turn the lights off.
