Interaction with Guests
We respond to our guests' need for interaction. If they want to engage, we're happy to talk. But if guests want to be left alone, we're okay with that, too. We live in the basement so we’re always available if needed.
Our neighborhood is on the edge of downtown and close to the capitol campus. There are a lot of office buildings springing up all around us, but our row of residential housing hugs this main artery. You can easily walk to many interesting places.
Our Intercity Transit Routes 94 (best) and 64 swing by to take you to the transit station for more connections. One block away, you can catch the DASH, a free bus that goes up & down the main drag from the Capitol to the Farmer's Market. Two buses enroute to Tacoma go past our corner, the 603 and the 612. To bus to and from Seattle, check Sound Transit's schedule for connecting with Tacoma. If you take the train to Olympia, bring your bike. There are two awesome bike trails between us and the train station.

Everything was great! Christopher showed me my room and the house! The other guests was very nice.
Christopher makes you a custom breakfast that is very good! There's parking for the car! Olympia is a cool place and i will definitely stay there again sometime
Staying at Christopher's was awesome. He gave me a very warm welcome even if I arrived earlier of check-in time. The house is very nice and clean and very centrally located.
There's plenty of space if you need to work on your laptop or just rest and talk with the other guests or play some music.
There is a bathroom with all the amenities just right by the room, it's clean and well organized.
I didn't spend too much time home cause I was just visiting for a day and wanted to see the most of Olympia (I fell in love with it by the way).
But I had the chance to have a chat with Christopher during breakfast (he prepared a succulent vegan breakfast for me) and he's such a nice easy-going guy.
I would highly recommend to stay at his place.
Clean, quiet and super chilled. Chris is easy going and very accommodating
First, I want to say how kind and hospitable both Christine and Chris were to me. They were kind and friendly and kept the place clean. And what a simple but great breakfast! Second, when I got stuck in traffic due to a bad accident on the road, Chris took me again for an additional night without any problems. Thank you!
I will stay with them again and (website hidden).
Christopher & Kristen were excellent hosts, and provide a really unique service to a pretty small town such as Olympia. The hostel is cosy, and wasn't too crowded, had lot's of room to relax after a days work or play in the area, and some really nice guests coming through. Kristen also whipped up amazing breakfasts every morning, and Christopher provided some great insights into some of the exciting things going on in Olympia.
I stayed here for 2 weeks whilst working in Olympia, and would certainly recommend anyone coming through town looking for a budget option (or even just a fun & comfortable stay) to book here!
