Philadelphia home on a small street with no car traffic. 2 bedrooms with queen beds and a 3rd queen bed (inflatable) if needed. A private roof deck with great views all to yourself. All of the best parts of Philadelphia within very close proximity.
Tucked away on a small cobblestone street with no cars, only a half block off of world famous South St. This is an entire house all to yourself, not an apartment or shared space. In the heart of Queen Village, an old Philadelphia brick home, beautifully restored. It's a spacious two bedroom home with gourmet Chef's Kitchen(stocked with cookware) and flawlessly refinished bathrooms featuring an extra deep bathtub. Each bedroom is on it's own floor with it's own bathroom and walk-in closet.
Take in a sunset on the 800 sq ft.private roof deck with an amazing view of the Philadelphia skyline.
You can walk to most destinations in 10 minutes or less. Liberty Bell, Constitution Center, Independence Hall, Ephrets Alley, Old City, Society Hill, Penn's Landing, Italian Market, Reading Terminal Market, Pat's and Geno's Steaks. Also right next door to Jim's Steaks and Ishkabibbles.
Other destinations are either a bike ride or short cab ride away. Museum of Art, Sports Complex (Phillies, Eagles, Sixers, Flyers), Philadelphia Zoo, Fairmount Park, 30th St Station, Eastern State Penitentiary.
Lighten your luggage as this place comes equipped with a blow-dryer, iron/board and portable wireless Bose speaker. Also there is a washer and dryer on the 2nd floor.
I have a relationship with a local concierge service that could deliver anything you need to the home prior to your arrival or during your stay.
All parts of the home except for the basement.
Interaction with Guests
I am always available by phone and/or email.
Everything you need is close by. Great restaurants, bars, shopping and attractions. Also, a beautiful neighborhood filled with Old Philadelphia homes. Great for walking.
Philadelphia has a very limited subway system. Taxi cabs are usually best.
Other Things to Note
The home is located a small street. You can technically get a car down it but I wouldn't advise it. There is no assigned parking but there are 2 parking lots and a parking garage all within 1 block as well as ample street parking which is paid by meters during the day and free overnight.
Also, I have a relationship with a local concierge service that could deliver anything you need to the home prior to your arrival.

We had a great stay. The house was beautiful and perfectly located. Drew went out of his way to accommodate us. I would definitely stay here again.
Even though the owner (Drew) was out of state, he made himself available via text/phone during my entire stay. It was a little difficult reaching him prior to my stay, but I was able to get all of my questions answered and concerns resolved before they became issues.
The location is truly fantastic. You are one block from South Street, which has a ton of food and nightlife options, all within walking distance. It can get a little "wild" on weekends, but the house is on a very quiet/private street away from the main street. It's about 1.5 miles to downtown Philly, which amounts a pleasant long walk or a short cab/Uber ride. For some, the narrow street/alley (Kater St.) may look a little sketchy at night, but I never felt unsafe and there were usually other locals walking around nearby.
The house is as described and well-maintained. It was a far better value for me and my colleagues (I traveled for business) than a typical hotel room, and it's perfect for entertaining. The rooftop deck is absolutely amazing and was our favorite feature--beautiful 360 views, including the downtown skyline.
Overall, this place is recommended and I would stay here again!
A very comfortable stay in a great part of town. If you're not into stairs, this place probably isn't for you. But otherwise, a very clean, well maintained home. And the roofdeck was awesome. Best part of the stay was hanging out up there.
My friends and I stayed at Drew's for the weekend and had a great trip. The house was as described - clean, beautiful and perfectly located. Easily walkable to adjacent neighborhoods and very close to delicious coffee shops and restaurants. We had a wonderful time and wouldn't hesitate staying here again.
Drew made sure everything was set and ready for our arrival. The place is as-advertised, on an alley with other historic buildings just off of famous South Street with it's funky shops and vibe. It was a great mixture of being near the historic sites and also experiencing a real Philadelphia neighborhood.
The weather was too cold to take advantage of the roof deck, but that was a great feature. The place was very nicely furnished with great beds, nicely renovated, etc.
We really enjoyed our stay at Drew's home. We found it to be very charming and exactly as described. The beds were super comfortable and the towels large and plentiful. We were familiar with the neighborhood and with the house being only 1/2 block off South St we expected some noise but it was extremely quiet and I'm a lite sleeper. We were disappointed we didn't get to utilize the beautiful roof top deck but, alas, the cold and snow kept us from enjoying the amazing view....next time!! Drew, you have a terrific place. Hope to stay there again on future trips to Philly.
The space was absolutely gorgeous and Drew responded very quickly to our questions and concerns. Overall, a great experience.
