Live the real Notting Hill lifestyle. Just off the famous Portobello Road in the heart of Notting Hill this is a terrific funky pad from which to explore one of London's grooviest districts. It is only four minutes away from Ladbroke Grove tube station which connects you to the rest of London and there is a 24 hour bus stop to the West End right out the door.
Furnished with twentieth century antique furniture throughout, the apartment has double height ceilings and huge windows front and rear which means it floods with natural light. There is a completely separate raised double mezzanine sleeping area. The kitchen is fantastically equipped with a six ring stove, Gaggia expresso machine, dishwasher and washer. There is super fast wifi and satellite TV and sound system with docking for your ipod so you can play own tunes.
Close by are some of the best bars, restaurants and shopping that London has to offer. Buy fresh produce on the daily food market or vintage clothes in the numerous small boutiques. Browse the endless antique and bric-a-brac stalls which stretch from Golbourne Road to Notting Hill Gate at weekends. Max out your credit card at the many designer shops on nearby Westbourne Grove, where you will find branches of Ralph Lauren, Paul Smith, Joseph and numerous other high end retailers. The apartment is also within walking distance of Europe's biggest indoor shopping mall Westfield. And if all that doesn't tire you out the beautiful Holland Park and Hyde Parks are both within walking distance. There's also a great gym on the next street.
Oh and just in case you fancy a cosy romantic night in, the apartment comes with its very own copy of the film Notting Hill!
You will have sole use of the entire apartment for the duration of your stay.

Lovely, cleverly put together apartment filled with thoughtful touches in a knock out location! Check in and out couldn't have easier (Tim is a delightfully organized fellow) and we saw a fox out the kitchen window! ZOWIE!
Thanks ever so, Tim!
Tim was easy to get hold of, provided really clear instructions about self check-in etc, and everything worked really well, overall an excellent stay in a compact but well designed and provisioned flat in a very convenient location.
Thanks Tim !
We spent a nice stay in this flat at Notting Hill, but the access to the mezzanine is not easy. The ladder in the wall is steep. The sleeping area is too narrow and not secured with a rail. All these things are neither described nor photographed in the announcement.
Sorry, for one night it’s ok, but we would not have liked to stay more time.
The flat is little bit « faded ». (« défraichi », in French). And, at last, we didn’t find Gaggia expresso machine.
We have enjoyed our stay at Tim's appartment very much.
The location is perfect for a London get away, especially when you would like to browse Nothing Hill and Portobello Road Market. Public transport is close, the tube station of Landbroke Grove and various busses.
But also when you are not on the move the appartment is a good place to relax. It is stylish with a lot off design that we loved and made us feel at home. The kitchen is fully equiped and the bathroom has a great shower.
Sleeping is a cosy experience, mind your head ;-)
The best coffee place (Talkhouse) and pizza place (Pizza East) in London are within 5 min by foot.
Tim is a great host and communicates quickly.
Tim's place worked really well for us! Location was perfect for Tube, bus, and Portobello Road market. The apartment was clean, had lots of amenities (bookshelf, stereo, DVD player, dishwasher, etc.) and was the perfect size for the two of us! Although there is a verticle climb (!!!) to the sleeping compartment, we managed it just fine. We would definitely stay at Tim's apartment again! Cheers!
Tim's place was in the perfect location. Just a short walk to the tube station and buses right outside our door. The apartment is very funky and comfortable. I would definitely stay there again :-)
This is a lovely little flat. The reception and kitchen are quite spacious and the kitchen is decked out with everything you need to cook up a storm and more. You do need a degree of agility to get up to the sleeping space and to not be a light sleeper as there is no barrier between the road and bed. Lovely garden views from all windows.
We absolutely loved our stay at Tim's place! It was my first airbnb experience and it was very memorable.
The unit was spacious, very clean, very functional and modern kitchen- we cooked everyday; perfect central location to the subway and buses, the sleeping loft was very cool and comfy! The wifi was great and the shower head was awesome.
It was a pity we never got to meet Tim, the communication with him from day 1 was flawless and his fried Nathan who met us was very prompt and friendly.
We would definitely stay again!
Tim's flat is on a quite street, close to both bus and tube stations. It was well contained and fairly clean. The sleeping area was unique and a bit of an adjustment, but we managed for the length of our stay. Some of the furniture pieces are quite worn and could stand to be replaced and the shower needed a heavy bleach job, but neither were a complete turn off. I could recommend staying here, but would suggest to keep in mind that the sleeping pod is accessible only via a ladder.
The flat is amazing and very close to Portobello Road and Ladbroke Grove Tube Station. Absolutely raccomended.
