About this listing
Rumah Tamu is a tastetul, beautifully decorated three bedroom villa, a perfect base to explore Bali: only 15 minutes by car from Ubud’s famous restaurants, museums, markets, dance performances and nightlife. Treat yourself and your friends: you will be astounded by the scenery, seclusion peacefulness here.
The villa is four years old and was designed by the owners, Tamarra and Paul, and their Balinese architect and friend Kadek. It features three buildings: a bale for dining, a master bedroom and bath and a third building housing two single bedrooms, a shared bath, living area and kitchen, all located in a lovely garden with pool and a patio overlooking the river and rice fields. The villa is beautifully decorated with fish ponds, fountains, pictographs, a pterodactyl wood carving and human and animal figurative statues.
We rent to one party at a time so you have complete privacy and use of the whole villa including free parking in the front.
Interaction with Guests
We like to meet you personally and tell you about the villa, the staff and our services. This gives you a chance to ask questions and get settled. Thereafter our manager, Gede, is available to assist you in making your daily plans and arranging transportation. Our Balinese staff are very friendly and helpful.
Set in a small Balinese village off the main road to Ubud in a grove of coconut trees surrounded by ricefields and next to a river. If you are looking for a quiet and beautiful villa away from the bustle of Ubud, but easily accessible to it, this is your place.
For stays of less than one week we provide once daily drop off and pickup to and from Ubud. For additional rides there are many local drivers for hire or you may rent a car or motorcycle(s). Free parking at the villa.

My favorite place in Bali! We took a lot of photos since the first day we got there! It has a little distance from ubud center but it's such a beautiful place, with great food and Internet! Tamarra and Paul were super nice and helpful! Highly recommend!!
