  • It was my first airbnb experience and it could not have gone better.
Heather was a wonderful host, nothing was too much trouble.
The room was clean and very comfortable indeed, I usually stay in hotels and it usually takes me a couple of nights before I get a decent sleep.
A home away from home with lovely and warm company, well at least Heather appeared to be interested in what I was talking about.
Will defiantly be going back……. Oh hang on, if I rate this as to good, Heather may be too booked up…..
So, it was an appalling experience….. go else were hahahaha
Thank you for a wonderful first experience…..
Oh and a great location to boot..

I would recommend Heather place at Richmond

  • I stayed with Heather for two nights in April. It was a thoroughly pleasant experience, Heather is a great host and has thought of everything. The room is clean and well equipped with a really nice view. The area is nice and quiet. Richmond is just a pleasant 25min walk, really perfect. I would definitely recommend staying here. • Heather is a lovely host and her room and home is very welcoming. Ham is also a very pretty area to visit and not far from Richmond Park. Heather took me in at short notice after a couple of other options fell through at the last minute and I was really grateful to find somewhere so nice to stay.

  • This is as good as airbnb gets. Qute apart from having a warm and welcoming personality, Heather has put a lot of thought into what her guests need to make their stay both comfortable and interesting. I really appreciated the flowers on the breakfast table, the maps and timetables in my room, the comfortable bed with good linen, the sound advice on getting into central London and the informationa about local events and restaurants.

But as an ex-londoner I was also surprised to discover what a splendid place Ham is, especially for overseas visitors. On a practical level the parking is easy and free, there are local shops, including an excellent German Deli. Teddington, Richmond and Kingston are all reasonably close and prove access to town as well as great shopping and restaurants. But for me the great joy was walking through Thameside meadows and woodlands, having a pint by the river and hearing genuine London voices rather than those of tourists!

In short, a great host, a comfortable house and a superb location.

  • Easy to find, following Heather's indications.
Very warm and friendly welcoming in her cosy, comfortable and nice home. I felt immediately very well, like being at a very good friend's home. A cup of tea and exquisite talking about top level and funny movies, life, culture, work.
A riverside good and romantic restaurant has been a great suggestion to make my very short staying like a real vacation.
Heather's home is well located in a beautiful area, only 30 minutes away from the city.
    Thank you Heather!

  • I spend 5 nights at Heather's house. She is excellent host, making me feel "at home". Her house is lovely, clean, very quite and very cozy. I recommend it! Especially if, after the chaos of London, like me you love to relax!! ..greenery and paths for long walks along the Thames.
