There are 10 of the same type in the block which are 2 bedrooms, the first doble and the second individual, more sofabed in the living room each apartment can sleep up to 5 in total. All the apartments are in mint condition and are fitted with air con, brand new kitchens and all mod cons. The large windows allow lots of natural light into the lounge area making this a perfect suntrap. There is also INTERNET in the whole building so perfect for those corporate clients who wish to work a little whilst on holiday.
The neighbourhood of Gràcia is one of Barcelona´s most picturesques areas. With narrow and winding streets, little squares and traditional old style buildings, is a very bohemian area full of alternative bars, pubs, restaurants, theatres, cinemas and cultural centres as well as good vegetarian restaurants and health-food stores. Here you can find one of Gaudí´s first works: Casa Vicens (1883-88) and, with just a few minutes of walk, his most famous work of art: the Sagrada Familia Church.

The apartment was modern, clean and perfectly located close to some of the most popular attractions in Barcelona. We got in around midnight and were able to meet with one of Alex's colleagues who showed us around the apartment and explained the different appliances. We were able to walk to Park Guell, Sagrada Familia, La Pedrera and Casa Batllo. The metro is also conveniently located if you need to go somewhere farther away. I definitely recommend this apartment if visiting Barcelona.
We arrived at the flat and were met by Alex's associate who let us in. He gave us the keys and a tour of the flat. My husband, father and I stayed here for 16 days.
The flat was modern, neat and clean. The kitchen had a full size refrigerator and an oven that also worked as a microwave. The bathroom was a good size and very clean. There were two small balconies. One was off the living room and the other off the larger bedroom. The washer/dryer was on the balcony off the bedroom. The beds were comfy and there were spacious closets for clothing. The second bedroom was a little smaller as it was a single. It also had a large closet for clothing. There was a hairdryer, iron and ironing board, dishes, pots and pans, silverware, towels, and a television.
The front entrance of the building was locked at all times and could only be accessed with your key. There was a small elevator to take you up to the higher floors but we chose to use the stairs as we were only on the second floor. The door to the flat was secured with a type of deadbolt lock and we had a second key for that.
The flat was situated in a great location. We were one street (on the right) away from the plaza, where we spent many nights enjoying tapas and beer. The grocery store was the next street over (on the left) and there were many shops to browse around in. The metro was a quick walk away and that brought us everywhere that we wanted to visit.
I felt completely safe walking around at night in this area and would absolutely stay here again on a return visit to Barcelona.
Very nice apartment located in a central and charming area. Alex and his team were truly friendly and helped us at all moments. I'd go back there anytime.
My friend and I had a great stay in the top apartment. The beds are comfy with good quality linen and ample towels. The wifi was excellent and the Aircon useful although opening up the windows and letting the breeze blow through was also very nice.
Great area as well. Good for exploring with an excellent Gelato shop at the end of the street.
We also had a cab organised to pick us up at the airport which was brilliant and we were able to easily arrange a late checkout.
We both would love to stay here again. Total hassle free! :)
The apartment I actually ended up in was on the top/5th floor and was a bit different than pictured. (Thank the universe for the elevator on my grocery days). The primary difference from the pictures was that the kitchen/living/dining room areas were not hardwood, but a kind of tile that looked a bit old and dirty, but even after wiping did not yield any dirt. Nicely appointed space with really good amenities (full sized fridge, iron, stove, oven, air conditioning, etc.) and great location. Convenient to two train stations (Fontana and Gracia). Alex, the owner, was wonderfully prompt in his response time when I was making the arrangements, and it was also a bonus that Mrs. Miriam (who is like the local contact/building manager) was on hand at the property and accessible via email (I had a minor issue with one of the blinds, and she got back to me within a day). My only complaint (in addition to the floor area noted above), and it is minor, is that the internet access often went out between 10pm and 2am, which was an inconvenience, especially since I relied on email/internet access for my connection with folks back at home in the United States and to search for local information. My rating is really a 4.5, but the system won't let me give a half star.
The apartment had a lovely little balcony overlooking the narrow, picturesque alleyways of Gracia. It was great sitting looking out and hearing all the goings on. The downside was that it was REALLY noisy at times, but I think that a lot of Barcelona would be. Also the people staying in the apartment upstairs partied on until 4.30am two of the nights we were there which was pretty annoying.
The internet barely worked for us which was really frustrating, being in a new city and trying to looks things up on the internet took hours instead of minutes. We kept leaping all over the apartment and on the balcony to try and get a better signal!
The apartment was really well equipped and the bedrooms were roomy and comfortable, they supplied lots of nice towels.
We had everything and more than we needed for our stay and we were at the apartment quite a lot as we have a baby.
They didn't have a kettle there, which was about the only thing that we really missed and also some kind of brush or cloth for washing dishes.
We really liked the area, it was only a couple of stops on the Metro to Catalana (Las Ramblas) there were two stations equal distance away, probably about 8 mins walk.
There were lots of good restaurants around, an excellent Japanese just metres away that Rodriego (who met us with keys) told us about. He was very friendly and informative. Plus the host Alex also arranged for a taxi to meet us at the airport on our arrival who know where to take us which was helpful and was a reasonable price too.
What a city! Ate amazing tapas and wish we had more time there. The Gaudi buildings in the area are amazing!
Awesome apartment in a great location!
Nice and clean apartment with a perfect location. Walking distance to almost everything. For another stay in Barcelona I will definitely consider staying in this apartment again.
