Heavenly quiet escape 10-15' maximum away from the medina with swimming pools (large adult pool and small shallow pool for kids), gardens, children playground and 24/7 security. A few minutes away from 3 amazing golf courses

The space

Heavenly quiet escape close to golfs and 10-15' maximum away from the medina. The resort features 2 pools, gardens and children playground. There is also a very good restaurant in the resort which is open for lunch and dinner every day. It is also possible to order bread on evenings for breakfast. They will also soon propose basic everyday groceries.

The resort is totally secure with 24/7 reception and parking guards.

Guest can access the pools and children playground at no extra cost.

We have high speed 4Mb/s unlimited wifi access in the flat.

Guests have to pay cleaner in cash at the end of the stay. Payment has to be done in cash (200 Dirhams) left at the security guard upon departure. A cleaner can be ordered to come everyday if needed - this needs to be organised ahead.

Although we are not living there on a full time basis, guests can call or pop by the reception if they need anything. The security guards are also very helpful.

The resort is close to everything although feeling like a secluded little heaven. Being outside the medina, it offers a quiet retreat to relax in, perfect after a day of sightseeing in the medina.

The resort is an amazing location for the golf lovers. 3 great golfs (Al Maiden, Amelkis and Golf Royal) are at walking distance.

The Medina with the Place Jamaa el Fna and the souks is only 10 minutes away by taxi or car.

The "new town" Gueliz with it's shops, restaurants, bars and clubs are at 15' by car.

The Palmeraie with its clubs and city beach are at 15 minutes drive away too.

A shopping centre with supermarket, shops and restaurants is conveniently located at 5 minutes drive from the resort

A car or a taxi (really cheap) are necessary to go to the Medina/Place Jamaa el Fna. It takes 10 minutes by car to get there. It costs approximately 75 Dirhams to get there and half the price to come back (as taxis will charge you an extra if you book them to collect you).

The golfs being only 5 minutes walk from the resort, one doesn't really need a car to get there.

The new town, Gueliz, and the Palmeraie are 15' away driving from the resort. Same for the airport.

The resort offers, among other services, a guarded parking 24/7 and at no extra cost.

Driving in Marrakech, both in the new town and Medina is safe but can be a hassle. I would definitively recommend using taxis, which are cheap and safe. Just remember to ask for the taxi driver to put the meter on!

In the Medina, it is better to walk. It is really safe as the touristic police is never far. Your only risk is really to get carried away with your shopping in the souks and get lost. In which case, anyone would kindly walk you back to the Place Jamaa el Fna, in exchange of a visit in its or a friend's shop - where you have no obligation to buy anything.

Finally, for those who are driving around Morocco, Marrakech is easy to reach through the highway from Casablanca (2 hours) and Agadir. The resort is conveniently located so you don't have to go through the medina to reach it then.

Sanaa User Profile

My name is Sanaa - I'm from Moroccan origins but born and bread in Paris and am now living in London with my husband Jean-Charles who is French too. We have bought this place very recently after falling in love with the property and as we love Marrakech for its proximity to Europe and easy access to the Sahara (which I am a big lover of) and the ocean.

JC and I both love travelling, which we do both for holidays and for work.
