The "CISTO" apartment is a comfortable apartment developed on two levels, with one master bedroom, two bathrooms with shower (one each floor), a wide living room with a fully furnished kitchen and a private external gazebo with view on Tuscan hills.

The space
The apartment is situated at the Agriturismo Podere Vignali on a hill with a magnificent panoramic view 180° over Murlo and Val d'Arbia up to Montalcino hills and Mount Amiata. It was an old granary and stable from a typical Tuscan stone house from 1700. The apartment develops on two levels with the bedroom and bathroom on the first floor with a beautiful view. Fully furnished with rustic furniture and tasteful elegance in line with local style, is suitable for two or four people and it's perfect for a family with children.

The Podere Vignali farmhouse is located in the municipality of Murlo on a hill overlooking the Castle of Murlo, an ancient medieval village dating back to 1000 AD. which houses a beautiful Etruscan Museum which brings back the finds found over the years and still today from excavations in the area.
During the summer Murlo and its surroundings it is possible to participate in various fairs and festivals.

Also in the town of Murlo, in July the Threshing Festival is organized, an ancient tradition that includes fashion parades and costumes of the time and dinners with typical dishes of the country tradition.
During the summer every year there are many other events in Murlo including the nights of "Swing & Wine", competitions and photo workshops with famous photographers and village festivals.

Podere Vignali di Murlo oggi deve il suo fascino e bellezza a Giorgio e Giuliana che, un bel giorno di molti anni fa, decisero di dare un’impostazione diversa alla loro vita, inseguendo quello che da tempo era, per loro, il ....”sogno toscano”! Dopo anni di ricerche e visite tra le più belle località della Toscana (e non solo), quando ormai pensavano che il sogno sarebbe rimasto tale, improvvisamente e come nelle favole, scoprirono il loro tanto sognato paradiso: il Podere Vignali di Murlo.
Giorgio si scordò quarant'anni da commercialista per trasformarsi in "farmer " e Giuliana diventò, con pieno merito e a pieni voti, da casalinga ad imprenditrice agrituristica, assistente edile e arredatrice.
Rispettando la tradizione locale nella scelta dei materiali e senza usare violenza alla natura, anche attraverso una paziente e accurata ricerca di mobili e arredi, Giorgio e Giuliana ridiedero vita al Podere Vignali. Negli anni che seguirono fino ad oggi, con ulteriori continui miglioramenti ed insieme al figlio Alessandro, accolgono i graditi ed entusiasti ospiti che restano incantati dalla magia del posto.

After years of research and visits among the most beautiful places in Tuscany (and not only), when they now thought that the dream would remain such, suddenly and as in fairy tales, they discovered their dreamed paradise: the Podere Vignali in Murlo.
Giorgio forgot forty years as an accountant to become a "farmer" and Giuliana became, with full merit and full marks, from a housewife to an agritourist, a building assistant and a decorator.
Respecting the local tradition in the choice of materials and without using violence to nature, even through a patient and careful search for furniture and furnishings, Giorgio and Giuliana gave back life to Podere Vignali. In the years that followed until today, with further continuous improvements together with their son Alessandro, they welcome the enthusiastic guests who are enchanted by the magic of the place.
