Originally a boarding house, it served summer boarders from the City and provided access to 'healthy sea air' and the local beaches. It was later turned into an Antique Shoppe and was restored to accentuate its unique features.
Guests will have access to entire home including the main living room, dining room, reading room/foyer, Kitchen, library as well as the entire upstairs (bedrooms and baths). There is a large back yard and two separate driveways.
Interaction with Guests
I am a story teller, I love having respectful guests in my home and sharing local history. Having been out here most my life I love sharing it with people. Happy to help you around and point you towards local spots.
I would recommend that you have a car but getting to the house from the Jitney is a 10-15 minute walk, there are plenty of cabs at the WHB train station as well.
Other Things to Note
Two bathrooms were recently remodeled
While I'm pretty flexible and happy to help where I can, I do expect people to treat my home as if it were their own. Please be mindful of coasters on wooden tables, and ask me if there is anything that I can help you with... i.e if you didn't grow up stoking turn of the (18th) Century fireplaces - by all means ask me.
