My boyfriend and I stayed at Agritursmo and had a fantastic trip. It is a very unique experience and my only regret is that we didn't have more time. Manuela is so nice. Our cab was late and she drove us to the bus station, so we wouldn't miss our bus! As other reviewers mentioned, the restaurant down the dirt road is really funky, cool and has really good food. Sylvia is AMAZING. She is so helpful. Her English is great. She grew up at the farm and she is knowledgable about the area, the making of wine and olive oil. She picked us up at the bus stop. Sylvia really made our vacation so much more meaningful then if we stayed in a hotel in Siena. I give Sylvia FIVE STARS!
My mother and I stayed at Agriturismo Antico Uliveto for 3 nights in mid-October. Our host Silvia was a charming person and very kind. She was the perfect hostess; she looked after us very well but also gave us our own space to relax and enjoy the peaceful beauty of her farm. The listing was accurate and even nicer than we imagined. Our room was really a suite with our own very large bedroom/dining room and on-suite shower (with abundant hot water) and WC. The bathroom also featured plenty of space for applying make-up and generally getting ready in the morning. There were electrical outlets on each side of the bed, allowing us to easily recharge our phones at night. The bed was very comfortable and it was completely silent at night so we slept very well. We arranged with Silvia earlier in the day to provide some dinner for us each of the nights that we stayed and she did so at a very reasonable price. The food was delicious and local to the area. The breakfast in the morning was also lovely, delicious and with a good selection. Above all, the beauty of the farm's gardens was stunning and we enjoyed strolling in the gardens, taking photos and relaxing at our outdoor table on the patio. Silvia and her family also make their own wine, jams, honey and other products. I sampled all of them and they were really delicious! It is incredibly peaceful and beautiful and we felt very welcome and relaxed. This is a great place to stay and we would love to come back again!
Beautiful location, very clean and hospitable. Complimentary breakfast was delicious. We stayed in the apartment which was very comfortable and the view from our bedroom balcony was wonderful. The staff was always welcoming and very helpful.
The house was set off the main road on a hill with lovely views from both sides. The garden, full of flowers and bees. Silva was most helpful and gave us pre printed sheets of good places to visit in the area.
Absolutely wonderful place. With the instruction on how to get there we got before hand from Silvia we didn't have much problem finding the place;) but otherwise we understood previous guests had had more trouble!
Quiet, relaxing, beautiful view, especially from the pool area :) we also got a pasta cooking class with nonna, who does all the cooking. Thank you! That was perfect! :) then we got to eat out pasta and other great homemade food, accompanied by the farm's own wine and the hostess! We didn't actually eat her (and we have to apologize for our poor poor name-remembering-skills!!!! Manuela, right????) but had a great talk during and after the dinner. Great last night in a beautiful country (with the poorest car drivers...). //Susanna and Christian
We arrived here from bustling Verona-was a perfect way to wind down. The house is up a dirt track, very secluded and peaceful. Silvia was a perfect host, very helpful and easily contactable. We had a massage on arrival (great) and also a cooking lesson-i would highly recommend this! Such good fun and we then ate the pasta we had made (along with a heap of other Italian delicacies prepared by the cook) outside as the sun went down with some of their homemade wine and beer-delicious. A 15 min drive from Siena, a perfect stay for anyone wanting a relaxing Tuscan break.
We only stayed here for one night, but it's a very lovely place. The hosts were super nice and breakfast was a great bonus. There is a REALLY good restaurant just down the street from them where we had the best pork, ever.
Great place to stay if you are touring the wine region.
Just one negative thing, there are mosquitoes.

Our farmhouse is run from three women: Daniela, Silvia e Manuela. We work also in the farm, producing wine, olive oil and spelt, and are able to do massages and organise some lovely meals.
