Nikos studios and apartments are located just 800 m. away from the port of Ios island and 300 m. from the main town of the island (Chora). We managed to keep the traditional architecture of our rooms and studios and decorated our facilities with stones from the local mountains.
Our rooms and studios are fully equipted and offer A/C, fridge, TV, safe box, public terrace or private balcony and private parking space for your vehicle.Apartments also have a kitchenette.
Take advantage of the short distance between our facilities and Chora (main town), to have great nights out in just a few minutes walk.
We also offer a free transfer from and to the port at your arrival or departure and ofcourse we provide directions to all our guests.
Ios is located in Cyclades and stands out for its green and blue water and the golden beaches of the island. Further more it is one of the cheapest destinations which makes the island one of the most famous places among young tourists around the world. You will definetely enjoy the food, the drinks, the beaches and your nights out will be memorable.
Don't forget to visit Milopotas and Manganari beaches, eat at Fiesta and escape restaurant and have a drink at the lemon bar.
quiet after 11pm,
The appartment is very nice. Baggos is very welcoming, very accommodating and very helpful. Recommended !
Room was clean & conveniently located to town & bus to the beach. Vaggos was flexible about my pickup and drop off to the port, and his mom even baked me cookies! Recommended for anyone wanting an inexpensive place to stay in Ios.
We had a very nice in this location, the view is well located to admire a beautiful sunset especially if you go on the roof. The kitchen is very furnished and allows you lots of cooking. There is even a toaster very appreciated in the morning ;) our host was perfect, he explained us all the best things to do in Ios and everybody was very helpful. We had a little present of fresh eggs, local cookies and peppers from his farm. We really enjoy it. It is very quick to go in Chora for the nightlife. I wont hesitate to come back here if i come back to Ios. The price is very appreciated too. i recommand it.
Let me start by saying that Baggos is awesome. He located us at the port and was very excited. He told us all about Ios and our potential for our short stay in Ios. We didn't rent a car/motorbike since the location is right near the bus stop and within walking distance to restaurants in the small town, or the port itself.
Baggos' friend hooked us up with a boat rental one of the days, so we explored some of the beaches only accessible by boat and did some snorkeling.
The place is really nice and simple. The beds were a bit thin mattress wise (could feel some of the springs), but we slept well anyways.
Baggos' mom even left us some homemade ginger cookies and Baggos' father, Nikos (who the company is named after) is very nice as well.
Thank you Baggos!
Vaggos was a wonderful host. He picked us up at the port and brought us to the hotel at no additional charge, all the while giving us the highlights of the island and pointing out the roads to walk around on. Mamma offered us delicious Greek coffee and biscuits on the veranda, which has a lovely view of the port. This is a simple, clean and affordable place to stay, located equidistant from the port and the beautiful old town of Chora. In Chora we were lucky enough to hear live traditional music in the square just behind the church. These musicians were fantastic, un-amplified and they were the real thing- no touristic pandering. It's a pity we had only 1 night in Ios, but Vaggos and his family made me determined to return for a longer stay. Thank you Nikos Place!
Great host. Place is in a good location, about ten minutes walking both to the village (main bars and clubs), and also to the beach at the port. Place is basic, with no frills, but hopefully if you are on Ios you will be having fun in the sun, not staying in your room ;)
We had a lovely stay at this small family run establishment. We were collected from the ferry and shown to our rooms after being introduced to the family. Room was modest but had everything you needed including aircon, wifi, toilet and shower. The family could not have been more helpful, made you feel very welcome. We had no issues with any of the other guests, keeping in mind that Ios is renowned for it's nightlife, but everyone was very respectful of one another. You are in close walking distance to the port and the town which is wonderful and there is a bus stop right outside. Would definitely recommend staying here!
