Interaction with Guests
Myself and my partner Jamie live with our 2 black cats Bert and Ernie and our lurcher Herb. We will do everything we can to make you feel welcome during your stay and will interact with you as much or as little as is comfortable for you.
We live on a quite cul-de-sac with plenty of parking. At the back of the house there is a plot of allotments beyond which are fields and woods with good routes for walking/jogging. There is a village shop, post office 2 pubs and an Italian restaurant all within walking distance.
The village is located off the A6 between Luton and Bedford, approximately 20 minutes to each. The closest railway station is Flitwick which is 10 mins drive and is on the mainline to London with trains every 10 mins.
Polite guests are welcome and it is appreciated if guests would leave place as they find it, clean and tidy.
Mary and Jamie were very welcoming and kind in their sharing of their home. We were doing a course at the nearby Clophill Centre and the location was very convenient. It is a lovely quiet house and the bedroom has views over woods and allotments; very peaceful and comfortable. If it is important to you, they use mostly ecological products in their home. Thank you both.
very comfy and quiet space, with great hosts - warm and welcoming. for those wanting to go to haynes park - very close. thanks for the stay Mary and James was great meeting you both
Mary and her partner Jamie are extremely friendly and welcoming. We cycled to their place and were completely soaked when we arrived. When we came in they immediately offered us a cup of tea. They also had nice big towels to use after the shower or bath. The next morning they prepared an English breakfast and fresh coffee, exactly what we needed during our cycling trip!
