  • The apartment was very cozy and was in a great location. At first it seemed a little too "cozy" but after a while, you get to use to the charm and it was just fine. Marshall does have a lot of his stuff there but, for the most part, they have been placed to the side. My friend who laid on the couch would be slightly scared of the masks (decor) that decorated the apartment but overall, it was good.

  • The experience was great. The apartment was very clean, comfortable and the location was excellent. I would love to stay here any time in the future.

  • Great location. Perfect for a simple get away. You're in an active house, so be aware that there will be other stuff there, but this didn't bother us in the slightest.

  • We were really excited to book this apartment, but staying there was not a terrific experience. First of all, the place does not quite look like it does in the photos - it's pretty cramped, due to the fact that there is a lot of Marshall's stuff in the unit. The bedroom is full of his clothes and also there is a lot of light coming into the unit from the street. The living room, too, was cramped and full of belongings that got in the way of being able to relax as a visitor. Interactions with Marshall were less than stellar - we asked for an early check-in, and he initially said yes to this, but then at the last minute, he told us the early check-in would not be possible and we'd have to check in at 3:00. We showed up at about 3:30, and he was still there, as was his housekeeper. The place still wasn't clean and he asked us to give him a few more minutes. We did, and he still wasn't done. THEN, midway through our stay, Marshall knocked on the door and asked to grab a pair of his shoes...

If you're looking for a place that is comfortable and inviting, we can't recommend this one. If you're looking for a cheap place to stay in downtown Napa and you're not too concerned about space or the look and feel of your surroundings, this place is a good deal as it is walking distance to good restaurants and nightlife, think more (website hidden)!

  • Excellent location, walking distance to great wine and dining in downtown Napa. We found the apartment a little dingier than it appears in the pictures, but perfectly comfortable, especially for a one night stay booked on short notice. If you value a kitchen and some character, this is a good bet. If you want a TV, would be put off by a less-than-new couch, or would be bothered by having some of Marshall's belongings here and there, it looks like it's possible to get a motel room in town for a similar price.

  • Very charming and great location. The place was very clean.

  • Great place, very clean, very centrally located.

  • Perfect location for walking to all the restaurants and bars in Napa. Place is a bit on the older side and not incredibly spacious but is fine for a couple of nights. We loved the huge windows, makes the living room nice and light. Didn't meet Marshall but his neighbour was lovely and recommended some restaurants for us.

  • Marshall was very professional in dealing with a few issues during our stay and we were pleased with how he handled the issues.
His place is very centrally located to downtown Napa, walking distance to many restuarants and tasting rooms. Parking is not an issue either with is nice. This is his apartment with his personal belongings so have that in mind before you arrive. He did leave a bottle of wine for us when we arrived which was a nice touch.
