We love Noe Valley. It is a wonderful friendly upscale neighborhood. There is a teriffic mix of people who live here, many of whom commute to Silicon Valley via (website hidden) busses that stop a few blocks away from our home. There are lots of charming stores and restaurants within walking distance and our location makes it easily accessible to all parts of San Francisco by public transportation. Noe Valley also has more dogs (pets) than any other part of San Francisco.
Public transportation is easily accessible - the street car to downtown is 1 1/2 streets away and there is a bus that is also 1 1/2 streets away that would take you to Golden Gate Park.
Other Things to Note
Morning newspaper is usually delivered daily to the apartment, unless the guest is not interested in receiving it.

Please turn hall lights off before leaving building and upon entering apartment.

Leon and Arlene were very friendly and helpful hosts. The apt. was well appointed. The bed very comfortable. It was a quiet location. Noe Valley and the surrounding areas were fun to walk through and explore.
Arlene and Leon made us feel extremely welcome. The apartment was just perfect for our needs.
Arlene and Leon are wonderful hosts who made us feel very welcome in their cottage. We loved the big appartment, the cosy garden and silence. It's placed 2 mins walk from the streetcar stop that connects directly to Union Square, few blocks away from restaurants and cafes. Thank you very much

We were warmly welcomed after our flight from NYC and spent a most pleasant week in Arlene & Leon's studio apartment. This is in a great friendly neighbourhood with plenty of good food available and easy to get around San Francisco with BART, buses etc. The garden area is a bonus and most evenings we had drinks there as the weather was superb during our stay. Highly recommend this accommodation.
Arlene and Leon are such nice people and the apartment is just great. Everything you could possibly need is there and we felt right at home. Loved loved loved the neighborhood. I would definitely come back and recommend this apartment to anyone.
Arlene is originally from New York and grew up in the Bronx, and Leon is a third generation San Franciscan. We are both retired. Leon loves to ski and play tennis. Arlene is involved in local community services (Neighborhood Community Court and San Francisco's Civil Grand Jury). We love to travel and have visited many interesting cultures and countries (i.e. China, India, Vietnam). We enjoy trying new restaurants and taking part in the culture that SF has to offer. We are outgoing and friendly, but respect our guests privacy. We love meeting new people from all over the world, and that is what makes our hosting so much fun.
