Surrounded by famous homes and mansions, this street's lined with Boston's elite! The apartment is 10-15 minutes from all attractions in Boston in the safe, lovely Newton area.
This one bedroom is located in one of the wealthiest areas in Boston where the street and neighborhood is lined with mansions and famous old homes. The private apartment (with private entrance) is in the back of a large and well-maintained home, and it overlooks an expansive Boston valley with beautiful trees, scenery and a golf course in the distance.
There is a large living room for relaxing with a nice sofa/futon, TV, storage chest and WiFi. The huge bay window has a remarkable view. There is a smaller, but well-supplied kitchen complete with full-size fridge, stove/oven, microwave, coffee maker, pots, pans, dishes and utensils. The bathroom is very clean and modern with a large vanity and full shower and (email hidden)e bedroom has a closet, shelving and a comfortable double bed.
The neighborhood is fantastic. It's very safe, quiet and a lovely place to spend a weekend or week in Boston. We recommend having a car and parking is included!
If you don't have a car, don't worry! Its only a 1/2 mile walk to Oak Square where there are restaurants, bars, take-out and public transportation (the 57 and 501 buses can get you downtown quickly) or you can always use Uber, Lyft or Cabs for inexpensive rides anywhere you need to go.

Nick is amazing. Extremely responsive to all emails and questions that we had. Although we didn't meet him in person, it did feel like we knew him quite well. Transaction was all very professional and well executed, showing that Nick definitely knows what he is doing. As a renter, I don't think you could ask for anything better. He absolutely did everything he could to make our stay great.
Looking at some of Nick's other properties this one isn't as polished but it suited our needs perfectly (we were just sleeping there really). Clean carpets, walls were clean, beds were nice and comfortable, linens were clean, towels were provided and freshly washed. My wife and infant sleep in the room, I slept on the pull-out, and our 2 year old stayed in a pack and play in the big closet. So a 1 bedroom that creatively held 4.
A few minor things to note. We came right from the airport, and there was no toilet paper or kleenex in the unit. To be fair it wasn't stated as being provided but I think we just assumed. We had some baby wipes (thank goodness) but make sure you bring essentials with you. The unit was cold in November, and we used all of the available space heaters to get the temperature up to the right level and then the baseboard heaters were able to keep it at a consistent temperature. If you are visiting in winter make sure you get Nick to turn the heat up a day before you get there. In the listing it does say that the bathroom is modern...but it's fairly dated. With that said it is completely functional, good shower head, clean.
Overall a great rental for us, and we will definitely give Nick a call next time we are visiting.
Nick is a great host, he made sure we were comfortable through our stay. The apartment is very nice and comfortable, it has all the stuff that are needed and is close to the city. The best thing is definitely the view which is amazing! My family had a great time visiting Boston, and we would definitely rent the apt again.
