Guest access

Guests are invited to store food and cook in my kitchen, as well as use my living room. Note: this is a colonial house with all bedrooms on the second floor. Stairs may be a challenge for folks with arthritis.
The only areas that are off limits are my studio and office.

Interaction with guests

I live in my home so on most occasions I shall be home. I have a shared driveway so it is important that you park in the designated space or in my garage. It is imperative that you be in the house by 10:30 PM so as not to disturb the neighbors.

The neighborhood

Newton has much to offer…there is a historical society (the Jackson Homestead) as well as an arts center. There is a lovely park with nature trails (Cold Spring Park), as well as 2 canoe rentals on the Charles River. One is located at the end of my street. Also at the end of the street is a community shares farm.
The villages themselves have nice restaurants and crafts shops.

Getting around

Very convenient…10 minute walk to the subway into Boston. Also a 10 minute walk to the #59 bus to Watertown Square; connection to Cambridge, and the Arsenal Mall.

Other things to note

I work full time, many evenings till 9. I give clear instructions where to park and where to find the key. But I may not greet you before 9 pm.
