Great location
95% of recent guests gave the location a 5-star rating.
The apartment has very minimal decor to keep the space open and to save it for the guests's personal things. It has all that is needed for a nice comfortable stay away from home: it is very clean, the bed and the sofa-bed are nice to sleep on, the kitchen has everything for cooking, fast wifi and TV, modern shower and a washing machine. What's more, it is located in a beautiful design district, quiet and surrounded by the Jugend style buildings. Close to the main city attractions too.

The space
It is a 29 sq.m. studio with fully equipped kitchen, bathroom with a shower, washing machine, free wifi and all the necessary things for staying while visiting Helsinki. It is located on the 3rd floor and there is an elevator in the building.
Baby crib available on request (extra charge 15eur/stay).

Where you’ll be

Helsinki, Finland

This is one of the most wanted areas in Helsinki to live in - Ullalinna. While being so close to the touristy center, it's quiet and just perfect for trying out some of the best local cuisine and finding unique items in the little shops. It's also part of the Desing district of Helsinki, which is presented by the local clothes' and interior designers, who keep their own shops in the area. There is plenty of little galleries, the Design museum of Helsinki and, of course, the very typical Helsinki architecture in Jugend style.
Only 15min walk to the seaside also! What can be more relaxing than a walk along the sealine or having a lunch with a view.

I am a young mom of two lovely kids: a 4-year-old and a 9-month-old. I am originally from Russia and married to a Scot. We've been living in Finland for over 10 years and love this country for its Nordic beauty, high quality products, safe environment and honest people. I've been working in a hotel business for almost 10 years and know exactly how to take care of guests both in terms of comfort and personal attention to each guest. I like to travel a lot and love to share tips about travelling in Finland and other places in the world I've visited. I love my life, because I have my family and I do what I like. I can't imagine my life without traveling, sweets and art. My first trip abroad was to the USA and that's where I fell in love with the city, which will always be my favoutire, - New Orlens. If you ask me about it, there is a chance I won't be able to stop talking. Though I've done rough traveling in my school years (camping, hitch-hiking) and some traveling on my own during the my university stufdies, now I only travel with my children. It's a completely different approach to everything from transport to badgeting, but I've always liked challenges. Airbnb came up in my life by accident, but felt so natural. I love the idea and the process, though it's a hard work. I have a vision of an ultimate stay and I'm constantly trying to offer that to my guests. It has many things in it, such as location, cleanliness and local advise as the base of everything, but also cosy interior, added details for comfort, things to make the space more a home, than a hotel room. I like chatting with guests and finding out about the places they come from, their interest in Finland, their stories. Although currently I am often taking care of my baby-daughter, my like-minded husband Brian is meeting with guests and preparing the apartments with the same passion as mine. I've never thought of a my life motto, but I'd try to come up with one just now. Here it is - Nothing is impossible)
