Anna was a wonderful host and her apartment suited us perfectly. It was placed in a really interesting area of the town and had all the amenities required for a comfortable stay. I'd definitely recommend the space for couples or close friends, and can safely say that Sanremo occupies a very interesting part of the Riviera where it's possible to explore in either direction. We went to Taggia for the day to relax on the beach there - busses take 10 mins and although touristy, was a really nice day out. Anna has lots of good recommendations for places to eat and drink, and we had some really great experiences in that respect too. Thanks!
We arrived at a very busy time of day, thankfully Anna and her husband Roberto were there to pick us up. We had to leave the car in a garage, which we didn't know was necessary, so this cost some extra money (10 days = €150). The people there were nice and the car was safe. Anna and Roberto helpt carry are luggage up the steep streets to the loft. The loft was a little smaller then we thought, but other then that it was nice, comfy and clean. We were there in July so it was very hot outside, Anna and Roberto provided a fan, which was necessary and appreciated :)
Thank you Anna and Roberto. We enjoyed our stay very much!
We had a great stay in Sanremo in July at Anna’s loft apartment. It’s in the old 16thC part of Sanremo and you can easily walk to the old churches, gardens, marina, beaches etc. Anna made us very welcome. The apartment has everything you need and is just right for 2 (or 2 with a child). If you do go try the Liguria coastal bike ride (rent bikes from the eastern end of Porto Sole marina - you need a half day rental). It’s a great way to see the Italian coast. Sanremo has great places to eat, and the museum is worth a visit. Try to see Bussana Vecchia too (the old Bussana that was hit by an earthquake in the 19thC). You don’t need a car in Sanremo (you could cycle to Bussana and get a cab up to the old town). The flower festival is much earlier in the year (January/February) by the way. We flew to Nice and hired a car so we could go by Monte Carlo on the way home. Again many thanks Anna for making our stay in Sanremo very pleasant.
I adored Anna's loft--it was really perfect for my trip. The basics--it was safe, clean, spacious, and exactly as advertised; really great home and I highly recommend staying here. The details--Anna is wonderful! She is very nice, communicative, and helpful; she was responsive to both airbnb messages and SMS. The timing of my arrival was such that she was able to scoop me at the station, which was really nice of her. She helped me get acquainted with the loft and the neighborhood. The loft is in a great location--close to everything (restaurants, public beaches and beaches you can pay for an umbrella, shops, markets/alimentari, and lots of great piazzas and main streets for walking/window shopping); it has everything you need to be able to cook and take meals at home; it really is spacious (the bathroom, upstairs loft and living area). Also, for anyone wondering about the following: the wireless worked great; the bed was comfortable; I was there when it was very hot, but was comfortable at all times in the loft, there is a fan and between the fan and open windows, it really was completely fine; I also was traveling alone and felt completely safe in the loft, the walk back to the loft, and walking around the neighborhood. If the loft is available during your travel dates, you should definitely stay here! She is wonderful and so is the loft!
