The attic room is in a good location within walking distance to Leidseplein, rijks museum and Van Gogh museum. Our host, Foppe, gave us very clear directions on how to get there from the airport, greeted us and told us everything we needed to know to have a comfortable stay. The stairs to the room are quite narrow so may not be suitable for those who have trouble climbing stairs. Highly recommended and would stay here again when I come back to Amsterdam!
We enjoyed our stay in Foppes attic. A bit of a climb up the stairs but that was not a problem. Great location handy to everything yet gave you the feel that you were living like a local.
We had no issues with access upon arrival and there was wine and chocolates to great us. Both were appreciated,
Great position, great apartment. It was a lovely time and I would raccomand Foppe's place for a nice stay in Amsterdam.
We couldn't have wished for a lovelier place to stay for our few days in Amsterdam, or for our first time using Airbnb. The attic apartment was beyond perfect, just so cosy and welcoming, especially with the special touches of fresh flowers, wine and chocolate. Foppe was equally welcoming and greeted us warmly and explained everything about the apartment we needed to know, and where we could buy groceries from.
The location was also ideal; a quiet and peaceful residential area but within a few minutes walk you were in the busier Leidsplein area.
All in all a wonderful little break to Amsterdam, made all the better by a perfect apartment and a perfect host!
Foppe is a awesome host! He did everything to make our experience The best. The attic room ia cozy, clean, romantic and beautiful. The localization is perfect to visit The most importants turístic places In Amsterda walking. Thanks a lot Foppe!
Perfect area for the quintessential Vancouverite and everyone else! Both my husband and I loved the special touches Foppe added with wine, chocolate, flowers, and it was definitely well needed after an 9 hour flight :).
The location is perfect and you'll feel like a local in a few days. Two blocks out from the hub (Eerste Constantijn Huygensstraat) you'll find an organic grocer, coffee shops, juice and salad bar... One block towards the city Center and you'll be immersed in canals, Dutch cheeses, and bicycles. My husband and I would highly recommend this location, and stay.
