Our cozy home is located in between Angkor Wat entrance(4km) and the Old Market area(4.6km). It is a great location to take a bicycle ride to the Angkor complex and explore all day. Enjoy a relaxing and quiet place to make yourself at home.
Our house is about 4km/2.5 miles from the entrance to Angkor Wat and 4.6km/2.8miles to Old Market area. It is a great location to take the bikes we provide for a ride to the Angkor complex. It is away from the hustle and bustle of the city but only a 10 minute tuk tuk drive if you want to go out for a night of fun.
Our place comfortably fits two with a king size bed and private hot water shower. The room has a fan and air conditioner. We also have two living room areas to relax in and a large balcony to sit and read a book. Our kitchen is fully equipped and available to cook some meals after a long day at the temples.
You will have access to:
Breakfast(fresh fruit,toast w/jam, coffee, and tea)
Hot water shower
Open use of the kitchen
Second floor balcony
I am available through e-mail at any time. I have a local cell phone number that can be shared upon arrival and either my husband or I will be present throughout your stay.
Our neighborhood is far from the hustle and bustle of the city and 4 Kilometers South West of Angkor Wat. We are surrounded by friendly locals who from November to March often celebrate weddings with loud music from 5 a.m. until Midnight. The proximity of the wedding directly affects how loud it can be heard from our house.
We offer bicycles to get around town but tuk tuk is the easiest mode of transport. We can organize a ride from the airport or bus through a tuk tuk as well as rides into town which are about 10-15 minutes.
The house is located 50m south of Palm Village Resort & Spa. We are not near the center of town, It is a 10 min Tuk Tuk ride or 15 to 20 min bicycle ride. Though we do have access to 3G service we do not have WiFi.
We enjoyed our stay with Dana and Bow. The house is huge and clean, it is 15 mins away from Angkor Wat. The only thing is it is hard to find because it doesn't have any address, we had to get a SIM card so that we can get in touch. Dana picked us up in the end. They provided us 2 bikes that we used to bike around the temples. It was fantastic experience. There is no Wifi in the house, but we were able to use Dana's computer to check stuff. The morning coffee was delicious. Thanks for everything.
Thanks to Dana and Bow, my stay in Siem Reap was comfortable, and much more interesting than being at a hotel. The neighborhood gives a flavor of local life plus the advantage of being close enough to services and all the things you might want to visit. Was really happy having access to a bike, a phone was provided for, which was super helpful, the room was very comfortable as was their generous access to the rest of the house. They are a warm and very helpful couple which made my experience very special.
Very good hosts in a very good home.
Just like the pictures showed, the room is large and confortable.
They help us with the transfer from/to the airport and worth everything else we need.
Dana and Bow's house was very clean, comfortable and they were great hosts. They were both very laid back and friendly, easy to deal with and they made sure we had everything we needed at all times. Having access to the 2 bicycles was important to us because their house is a bit outside the main part of the city. We used them everyday to explore Siem Reap, even parts of Angkor Wat. Fortunately they made sure the bikes were in good working order and when I got a flat tire they fixed it promptly.
We had an amazing time staying with Dana and Bo! They really helped us out and gave us lot's of info about the area, including picking us up for the airport and arranging a tuk-tuk driver, Mr. M., for us. The location of their house is also perfect because it is directly between Siem Reap and Angkor. The area where they live is really quiet and there are some amazing Cambodian street food stands five minutes away. I would def recommend staying here!
This is the place to stay next time you are in Siem Reap! First of all the house is right between downtown Siem Reap and Angkor Wat. This gives you many advantages. First of all it is very quiet and away from the bustling city. But still about 10 min away from the city or Angkor Wat by tuk tuk (and even closer to the airport than the city is). This is also useful if you want to access the Angkor Wat by bicycle. Though away from the city and in a village area, the house is modern, clean, and nicely furnished. Your room comes with a comfortable bed, AC, and hot water shower! The house is beautifully built with access to balcony, patio, living room, and kitchen. Cook your own meals in the kitchen or sit down in balcony to relax during the evening. If you need anything, just ask Dana. Dana and her husband went out of their way to help with me anything I needed! From coming to pick me up at the airport to making sure I got to Angkor Wat fine to helping me book bus ticket to Phnom Penh. They are great hosts and make your stay enjoyable. Overall this is a nicely valued and great stay especially because of the location and the house amenities.
