Very comfy and convenient place to stay and so close to the water. Lovely garden and Shenaqua is an amazing cook!
I had a lovely stay at Casa Zen! A wonderful, comfortable home in a great location. Shenaqua and AJ were very helpful as I was trying to plan the last days of my trip. I very much enjoyed speaking with them, as they took time out of their busy and interesting lives to offer travel suggestions. You will enjoy your stay at this lovely home!
Very welcoming, hospitable and helpful! Shenaqua and Andrew made my visit to baja a very comfortable and epic experience. Thanks Shenaqua and Andrew for your kindness and hospitality!
Had a lovely time relaxing at this zen house. We made tea and walked around the garden. Shenaqua has tons of magical fruits and the house smells like essential oil! Completely relaxing. Oh and when we arrived a hummingbird stopped by the front garden to say hello. :) thank you again for everything!!!
Lovely place to stay! The room was very beautiful and cosy. Shenaqua and Andrew are very kind people. I could try very nice fruits and samples of their organic food. The house is located in a calm street. The way to the beach and downtown is in walking distance.
Casa Zen lived up to it's description complete with a very peaceful garden in the back, and Shenaqua and AJ were absolutely lovely. Shenaqua greeted us with a smile and a plate of delicious homemade raw fruit and chocolate snacks. They were generous in sharing their living area (and locally grown fruits!), and they provided excellent recommendations for local eateries (Rancho Viejo is delicious!). They also went out of their way to help us with little things, like mailing postcards. We departed with a congratulatory gift of chocolate tequila (we got engaged on the trip), and a bag of dried mangos. Our stay was brief, but wonderful.
Delightful! Shenaqua and AJ were so welcoming, kind, generous and resourceful. Their location is perfect, as it's near the water but away from the downtown fray. I highly recommend staying here!
We are an easygoing couple who enjoy sharing healthy living, gardening, permaculture, natural building, adventure, sports and travel. We appreciate La Paz for being a small town filled with lots of attractions: pubs, beaches, restaurants ocean adventures and yes, Dancing!
