The Space

Unique little apartment on an elegant Roman street, a few steps from Villa Borghese. You will admire this area of Rome, which is central but not full of tourists yet. Locals fill the bars and restaurants in the evening. Hurry, word is getting out how well one can eat here!

Our little apartment is on the ground floor and has two rooms, a kitchenette, little terrace, a washing machine and a small bathroom with a comfortable shower. In the bedroom you find a cozy and original high bed (french double bed size 120/200cm) made of wood. No worries, it's not so high and there is a plexiglas border for security. The bed is easily reached with broad little steps. The little terrace is accessible from the bedroom where guests can enjoy their espresso in the morning. Bedlinen, towels, kitchen supplies and wifi internet are provided. The apartment is ideal for two guests, but can easily accommodate three or even four guests if willing to share the sofa bed.

We are happy to give our guests a warm welcome as well as provide any needed information.

Getting around

Via Savoia is a very strategic street situated close to Viale Regina Margherita, where one can take a tram directly to the Vatican. It is a 10 minute walk from the famous Galleria Borghese, which is found inside the Villa Borghese Park. Walking across the park, one can reach the Spanish Steps and Piazza del Popolo. Via Veneto can also be reached by a pleasant walk in the park. Porta Pia, a gate in the Aurelian Walls of Rome designed by Michelangelo, is only a 5 minute walk away. From there a bus can take you to Piazza Venezia and the Colosseum. The nearest Metro stop is Policlinico and 1.4 km away. 'Osteria via Mantova,' a very good restaurant, is just a 100 meters from Roman Arabesque.

  • what a sweet and homy place! very cosy but not too small, has two separate rooms, a comfortable bed and everything you need including for the kitchen. books and wi fi at your disposal, cute balcony, a good shower and a comfortable bed. located in a very good and safe neighbourhood but still central - you can walk (20-25 minutes) to a lot of sights and the termini, good bus connections everywhere. we recommend it and wouls choose it again. only downside in the roman summer - all the big windows turn into one direction so not a lot of airflow and no airconditioning. but there's a fan/ventilator and it's enough. Rola and Claudio are very nice and communicative, explained everything and gave us (website hidden) sum up - very recommended.

  • Very nice people! Very nice apartment. It felt a bit like 'how to live in a x-meter squares apartment of Ikea', but it felt great! If I ever get back to Rome, I want to go to the Via Savoia again. Recommended by Hedwig

  • Rola & Claudio were amazing and helpful. They welcomed us into their home. We got married in Rome and they bought us a bottle of wine. The house was cozy and clean. We walked nearly everwhere from the house. I highly recommend staying at this beautful place. Everything was beatiful, their family, the neighborhood, and the surrounding area!

  • Such kind, warm and friendly hosts! We met all of the family and they really made us feel so welcome. The apartment is within a very safe and clean building. The location was perfect and exactly as stated in the details. The apartment itself was modern and quirky with real character, I would definitely recommend you stay at Rola and Claudio's place :) xxx

  • We liked staying at Rola & Claudio’s apartment. It is easy to reach from Termini. The place is nice and cozy, only thing that it has no microwave. It is located in a quiet neighborhood; one can easily take a walk through Park Vila Borghese to Piazza del Popolo. There are supermarkets and (email hidden) situated very close to the flat. I recommend this place for a stay in Rome. Olga

  • I can not say enough about the hospitality that Rola & Claudio showed us. Their apartment was great with a great western style shower and even a little patio to have coffee in the morning!

The were very responsive and was comfortable asking them anything. The apartment was in a quiet parisian looking neighborhood that felt very safe with restaurants, bars & cafes in walking distance. We got used to using the bus system and I suggest it to everyone. It's efficient and a great way to get around the city. They are also in walking distance of the Termini station if you are coming from the airport.

Great time in the eternal city!

  • Rola and Claudio were great hosts. Check in and check out was very easy. The apartment is exactly as described. The location is a little far from tourist attractions, but there are many public transport options nearby. Would gladly stay again.
