The East Village is the hot spot for restaurants and shopping and easy access to other areas in the city. It is a bustling area for artists and creative-types, as well as known for it's alternative perspectives on lifestyle and politics. There are many community gardens to explore and Tompkins Square Park is a couple of blocks away. The neighborhood is walking distance to the Lower East Side, Alphabet City, Soho, Nolita and Astor Place, to name a few areas.
The F train is the closest subway stop and will get you from the Eastside to the Westside in a jiffy, as well as Uptown (both East and West) and Brooklyn. It's a GREAT train to have close.

As a native New Yorker I was thrilled to find a place in my old neighborhood at such a reasonable cost. This charming 4 floor walk up was exactly what the doctor ordered. Clean , accessible to everything I love about New York, and above all else quiet.
My girlfriend and I traveled to NYC for a weekend getaway and stayed in Naga's Soho apartment. The stay went awesome. Her place is cozy, clean, walking distance to our favorite areas in NYC (soho, chelsea, tribeca) and very affordable. The apartment has a lot of spiritual vibes which were great, and the aroma of the place was fantastic. Naga was there if we had any questions and getting into the apartment was not a hassle. There were no issues with the stay. The only thing I would point out for others is the apartment is pretty small. It's perfect for a weekend, but staying all week might leave you cramped up. Other than that everything was incredible, and Naga was a great host! I highly recommend staying here if you love the Soho area and don't wanna break the bank on an expensive hotel.
I spent one weekend in Naga's appartement and I couldn ´t expect a better one ! It's very well located, closed to Greenwich village, meatpeaking, Chelsea, Soho. The street is quiet and the appartement very calm. From the bedroom, you can enjoy the view of many gardens. Naga answered very quickly to all the questions. She is a caring host and let an universal adapter. I recommend this place with no hesitation !
Great location: West Village is perfect! Beautiful and clean apartment, perfect for 2.
Naga is very accommodating; even if our bus was late, she was very kind.
I highly recommend this place!
My boyfriend and I had a wonderful time at Naga's place. The area is perfect and the apartment has everything you need for your days in NYC. I would definitely come back and I totally recommend it. Naga is a great host.
Naga`s apartment was simply perfect for our New York stay! We stayed for 5 nights and next to the fact that the apartment is super cozy, I can say that the location is unbeatable! My boyfriend and I were really happy to stay in the West Village - having restaurants, bars, shops and the subway directly around the corner. We want to thank Naga for hosting us and for being so friendly and welcoming! We hope that we can stay at her apartment again :) All the best for you, Naga! xoxo
Stayed here for 4 nights with my boyfriend after a 3 week road trip - was so great to have a place to settle in a bit! The apartment is exactly as expected, lovely and bright, everything worked fine. Lovely location, close to many great cafes/restaurants/bars.
Only possible hitches is that it's a 4 floor walk up - we had a lot of luggage which was tough but otherwise an excellent way to walk off the good food! Also no TV, but who needs one in such a busy, exciting city.
Me and my mom had THE BEST time in NY staying in this apartment. Such a nice place and close to everything! 1min to the Naga was the best host, so friendly and whatever you needed or had questions about, she answered it right away!
Strongly recommend to stay in this apartment, super cosy and you will have the best vacation when visiting NYC! Can't wait to go back!
Stephanie's appartement Washington perfect for our 5 days stay on NYC. She was very helpful and waited for us the evening we arrived at 11h only.
the apartment is luminous, clean, calm, comfortable and cosy, everything was just perfect. if I have the possibility to go back to NY, I would definitely try to book it again!
We stayed for a week in November and had a really good time staying at this apartment. The location is excellent with two well connected metro lines within a very short walk.
You're also near Soho and Greenwich Village for a good array of restaurants and bars.
The apartment itself is really nice. Things like having a cafetiere is really useful for breakfast in the mornings. Stephanie was there to meet us and show us around. The fact we were a little early and the fact it was her birthday was not a problem. She was a very welcoming and friendly host.
