  • Staying with Giulia was great - very friendly and helpful, great location, nice room, balcony and breakfast! We would be happy to stay here again.

  • Due to a wine convention, I couldn't find a hotel for my 11 day stay in Verona. I checked out airbnb and submitted a request. That specific request couldn't be fulfilled but Giulia Sartori offered me space at The Lions Verona Center. One call upon arrival at the airport and Giulia picked me up (for less than a taxi). She was very friendly and helpful. The location is great - right across the bridge from the city center. I walked everywhere. and when you need a bus, the stop is right in front of the apartment. Any bus takes you to the train station. I couldn't have been happier with my stay. Giulia's mother, Marina, lives on the property and we became friends. She's very helpful, the restaurants that were recommended were great. The lodgings are simple but everything you need. I would definitely stay at one of their properties again!
    Thank you Marina and Giulia!!

  • The Lions is lovely. Very clean and tidy and well organised. Marina was very helpful on our arrival, providing us with a map and places to visit around the city. It was nice that breakfast was available to help ourselves to when we wanted, and that we could use the kitchen facilities too. The room was quiet and we never really had to wait for the bathrooms, so sharing was no problem.

  • A B&B in an apartment. Located across the river from Verona old city - a few restaurants and bars for locals are around. The landlady lives in the flat next door. Rooms basic but clean. Large terrace with view on the roofs - nice for breakfast.
Old city 5 mins walk across the bridge.

  • The room was very quiet even though it was close to town. It was great to have the kitchen facilities and all the facilities were very clean. They even arranged for me to be picked up from the train station which was nice. I recommend this place to anyone wanting somewhere handy but quiet.
