Guest cottage close to John Wayne Marina, lavender farm, and Carrie Blake Park. Kitchenette has full size toaster oven, microwave, fridge, single burner hot plate, and electric kettle. Skylights in living room and bedroom. TV for DVD viewing only (Redbox nearby). No WiFi. Comfortable place to stay after a day of exploring the north Olympic Peninsula. Bike, walk, or run on the Olympic Discovery Trail (1/2 mile away) or hike the trails of nearby Olympic National Forest or National Park.
The space
The cottage will meet all your basic needs including a kitchenette which has everything you would need for simple cooking if you do not wish to eat out for meals. Also included is everything you would need to wash and dry your own dishes! :) Coffee and tea are provided. There is no WiFi in the cottage (our neighborhood lacks infrastructure for acceptable WiFi). You are on vacation, enjoy the serenity of being disconnected! There is an abundance of free WiFi in town including at the nearby visitor's center.
Feel at home in the simplicity of our comfortable and cozy, moose-themed cottage. It is perfect for those who will be out enjoying the many activities of the area during the day and is a reflection of us and our own style of travel, down to earth and outdoorsy. Enjoy our peekaboo views of Sequim Bay and Mount Baker on a lovely morning or evening walk through our quiet neighborhood with very little traffic. Rent a DVD from Redbox at nearby QFC for a relaxing evening. We love dogs so feel free to bring along Fido! Your dog should be crate trained or be with you during the day. Since cats generally don't go with you during the day or stay in crates, please do not bring Fluffy. Let us know if you are planning on bringing your dog with you.
Sequim Sojourners Haven was originally a law office (circa 1981). There is an aerial photo of our property hanging in the cottage from that time, before there was a surrounding neighborhood, complete with cows in the adjacent field. The bathroom, closet, and kitchenette were added in the last 10 years. We hope you enjoy our charming vintage hideaway!

We have a young, enthusiastic chocolate lab who is mostly off leash on our property but never unattended.

We live in a beautiful and quiet neighborhood remote from downtown Sequim. Sequim is largely a retirement community and has a very quaint downtown area where you will find coffee shops and unique and fun specialty shops. We are 1.5 miles from the visitor's center, where there is free WiFi, and 3 miles from the city center.

During your stay
We like to meet our guests briefly and will then give you as much privacy as you want. You may see us around the property doing yard work or throwing the ball for Bailey, our chocolate lab. Bailey will likely come greet you. We are available if there is anything you need or have any questions. Self check in is available if needed although we do prefer to meet our guests upon arrival. Early check in is possible on some days.
