Reiki Sessions / Energy Healing:
Michele is a Reiki Practitioner. You may want to book a session and experience a super relaxed state of consciousness ... the ideal state where natural healing occurs. Cat Osho may join the session for added pet therapy!
A Reiki session is a super-relaxing process where we use the life force energy in the Universe to assist you in accessing a greater awareness of "who you really are" for the optimal performance of your human body, mind and spirit. Everyone receiving a Reiki session experiences a super-relaxed state of mind, body and spirit. Sometimes other experiences may be noted. You may feel the energy from me such as the heat coming from my hands and tingling sensations in your body, you may feel a slightly uncomfortable pressure (not caused by my physical hands) as an energetic block is being cleared for greater access to well-being; images may appear in your conscious mind with new insights to unsolved questions; and sometimes you'll feel the presence of your dear loved ones who have already transitioned to the other side such as family, friends and pets. They are energy too and work with the energy in the Universe to support you during this process!!
My cats love the energy and will typically join the client on the table. The clients love the added depth that their energy provides. However, if you are not comfortable with that experience, we can put them in another room.
A one hour session is $65.
Interaction with Guests
We enjoy welcoming our guests and sharing with them what we love about our community and we love getting to know them. However, we enjoy our private time as well and realize that most guests like their "down-time" and have their own schedules to keep... as do we. We find we offer a good balance of hospitable warmth as well as independence for our guests.
Quiet, rural farm town. Close enough to restaurants, stores and cultural activities.
There is no public transportation to Townsend. You will need to rent a car or hire a cab service. Free parking is available on the street next to the house on Lattomus Street.

I did not stay in this AirBnB location, but I did book the room for my two friends who were in town for the Firefly Festival. My friends were very happy with the accommodations, and with the hosts. Sean and Michelle were also kind and considerate when we were communicating prior to the stay, and they were very flexible and thoughtful about when the guests could arrive and check in. We had an erratic schedule due to the music festival hours, and the hosts were very understanding and lenient about arrivals and departures. My friends were very happy with everything about their stay.
Michele and Sean were accommodating and easy to work with. They had a friend let us in when they couldn't be there for our arrival, and were gracious in the morning. Wish we could have stayed longer!
House is beautiful. They take great care of it. Bathroom is bigger than some Manhattan apartments.
My experience at Michele and Sean Andersen's home was wonderful. They are attentive and helpful hosts (e.g., they gave me a ride to the next town and had an extra charger for my phone), and are just really nice, genuine people. Their home is a beautiful, old house from about 1900.
My stay at Michele and Sean's home was lovely. They were terrific hosts and the accommodations were better than I could have hoped for. Thanks for making my first trip to Dover and NASCAR a pleasure!
My friend and I had such a wonderful weekend at Michele and Sean's beautiful home! They were so kind and welcoming, making us feel right at home. Their house is very well located; a short drive to/from Dover International Speedway. Thank you so much for everything, Michele and Sean! We loved getting to know you both and had a great time exchanging stories and ideas! :)
I have nothing but high praise for Michele and Sean's contribution to the AirBNB story.
The initial communication was clear and definitive and they left options for check-in time to enable a variety of responses. An excellent start.
The welcome was as good as you'll get and Michele had prepared a detailed summary of the surrounding neighborhood, restaurants and the house itself.
From then on Michele and Sean went out of their way to ensure I would not be left wanting or wondering. They were pre-emptive in their thoughts on what a guest may require. Their pets I enjoyed thoroughly and they were certainly not afraid to approach me.
Michele and Sean seem to have an intuitive knack for being there when you wanted company and blending away when you didn't. As conversationalists and a couple you'd want to talk to, well, they suited me admirably. Well done, guys.
And the house? They describe it as" lovely Victorian" and that's an understatement. Maybe not everyone's cup-of-tea but so, so, calm and peaceful to relax in at the end of the day, for me.
My event was in Dover and I found the short commute on either 1 or 13 to be quick and simple. Distance is not all measured in miles and it was probably the same as a suburban commute in many cities.
Well done Michele and Sean. You can hold your chins up high.
