Our Rental is the first floor of this historical duplex in the downtown area of Charleston. The area is the center of the new trendy part of town close to new restaurants, breweries and music venues. The Palmetto brewery has open parties every Friday nights, also look for Edmonds Oast, Park Café, Taco Boy, Moe's Crosstown Tavern, The Royal American, Rutledge Cab Co and The Tattooed Moose.
The home is very large 3 bedroom and is accommodating for a family or 2 to 3 couples to share. It has a wonderful covered front porch, perfect for coffee in the morning or relaxing with a glass of wine in the evening. The full kitchen and large dinning room allows for you to stay and cook in some of the local seafood, but the culinary scene of Charleston is so great, you have to experience it as much as you can!
You have the first floor apartment all to yourself. We live in a completely separate home above. There is ample parking on the street and a spot behind the house.
Interaction with Guests
We can have as much or as little interaction with guests. We are in the food and wine industry and can help with any kind of restaurant suggestion to help with craft beer tours.
We are in one of the hottest areas of town, new restaurants and nightclubs/ music venues are popping up everyday. Look up Rutledge Cab co restaurant, Moe's crosstown tavern, Park cafe, Lee lees hot kitchen, Royal American, Tattooed Moose ( on Diners, Drive ins and Dives).
Still can easily get to King street and Market street areas of town.
We are in walking distance to a lot of venues. To get to the battery or lower king st by taking a short cab ride ( less than $10 ) or take a free trolley. Parking downtown can be a challenge, but we have a parking spot behind the house and lots of street parking without fear of tickets.

Our family had a wonderful stay at Michele and Billy's place last week! It was clean and spacious and accommodated our group of six perfectly. The front porch was a lovely spot to sit in the evening and the beds were very comfy. Communication with Michele was super easy, she responded very quickly to our inquiries.
We would definitely stay again on future trips to to Charleston. Thanks for a great stay!
Really beautiful, charming house in a nice neighborhood. Very conveniently located to all the downtown amenities. Could walk to restaurants and had great parking for 2 cars! Highly recommended!
Your house is beautiful! The pictures represent exactly what your going to get! We loved it, thank you!
Michele and Billy made our inaugural airbnb experience a success. They were super helpful and responsive both leading up to and during our trip. The home itself was clean and well maintained. The neighborhood itself seemed slightly transitional but at no point did we worry about our safety.
Great house in a convenient location. We were in town to play golf and experience Charleston, both of which were easily done from this central location. The house was clean, comfortable with all the amenities. Michele and Billy and were great hosts and very knowledgeable about the city , offering suggestions for good food and drink. We had a great time.
Great apartment in a fantastic location, was perfect for the few days spent in Charleston. Everything was extremely clean and tidy. Keys easy to pick up and drop off. Thanks
Great location right near The Citadel. Felt very safe in the neighborhood. Easy access to downtown and outlet to James Island. House was clean and was accommodating for 4 couples. The only drawback is it is a single bathroom house. Since Bill and Michele live directly upstairs, we were unable to lock our door one night before heading out. One call to Michele and she was able to go lock the door for us and provide us with additional keys for the future. Far above and beyond exceeded my expectations!
