Interaction with Guests
We're always happy to have a cup of tea and a chat :)
Lefre and her partner are very kind and welcoming. The information provided was very detailed and accurate. They have a beautiful shy dog. I didn't spend much time at the place but I recommend it and would definitely stay again at Lefre's.
Great hosts. Lefre and Eamonn provide real hospitality and are lovely people too.
Fantastic stay and very friendly :)
As advertised and quite close to the city centre.
I really enjoyed my stay withe Lefre and her husband Eamonn. They were the perfect hosts, very accommodating and gave me advice on what to do and see in Cork. We had lovely and enjoyable conversation and they are full of stories about their travels.
The accommodations were great after a long day, the bed was so comfortable and it was nice to have a hot shower. I was even offered tea many times and a big bowl of cereal for breakfast. The house is exactly as described, 15 minutes walk from the city center. Its about a 8-10 euro cab ride, which I would recommend in the evenings. Their dog Bubbles is the sweetest pooch you will ever meet.
I really enjoyed my stay here and a big thank you to Lefre and Eamonn, it was great meeting you both!!
I received a friendly welcome from my hosts. It was great that the house was walking distance from the city centre.

About the Host, Lefre
I live with my husband and our dog (a rough collie, who looks like Lassie) in a house one mile from the main street in Cork City Centre. We're easy going and friendly, outgoing people. I'm a lawyer and my husband is a statistician. We love travel and have done a huge amount of it together, in all kinds of off-beat destinations. We're big fans of alternative comedy (George Carlin, Stewart Lee, Billy Connolly, Bill Maher). We love good food (Cork is great for this - it's a real gourmet capital with lots of artisan producers), like going for a drink, hanging out with friends and playing cards. I love music and have recently bought myself a guitar - I played music years ago, as a kid. I'm taking some lessons and it's my ambition for this year to learn how to play it properly:)
