Very experienced hosts that ensured checking in was easy and ensured i knew what to do while i stayed in cork. Very social but also willing to let you be alone when you want. Know a lot about the area too. Absolutely wonderful.

A lovely home to stay at, Lefr and Eamon are wonderful hosts. I had lovely chats with them and they were so helpful with everything. Great location close to university for which I visited Cork. Can really recommend Lefre's home!

Lefre, Eamonn, and Bubbles were the best hosts! Their home was comfortable, clean, and inviting. They give you as little or as much space as you want. Always there for a chat! I would definitely stay here again and highly reccommend it!

Lefre and her husband were amazing hosts! The conversation and the company alone were well worth the trip. On business trips, especially, I tend to be pretty focused on work and don't get the chance (as much as I would like) to interact with locals and hosts. I came in late most nights, woke up early, and was in and out quickly. Which is why I was so presently surprised when lefre and her husband (and even the adorable house pup bubbles) went out of their way to find and make time to talk, hang out and share a glass of wine or tea. They even got roped into helping me practice for a presentation I was doing... so they went WAY above and beyond duties of hosting. They are super active in their local community and in the air bnb community, so they really have great insights into the town and the culture, and several charming (URL HIDDEN) about cork and the world beyond. The house is in a quiet residential part of Cork. Sort of off the main roadways. Within walking distance to sights and college, 20-30 minutes. The room is no frills value accommodation in a well loved but cared for house: think clean and nice hostel with way better towels and a WAY better shower. The little desk was such a great perk as it gave me a space to work and get ready in the morning. Would be great for solo traveler trying to keep financial output in check. Absoleutly loved my stay. Best bnb hosts to date

Lefre User ProfileLefre is a superhost.

I live with my husband in a house one mile from the main street in Cork City Centre. We're easy going and friendly, outgoing people. I'm a lawyer and my husband is a statistician. We love travel and have done a huge amount of it together, in all kinds of off-beat destinations. We're big fans of alternative comedy (George Carlin, Stewart Lee, Billy Connolly, Bill Maher). We love good food (Cork is great for this - it's a real gourmet capital with lots of artisan producers), like going for a drink, hanging out with friends and playing cards. I love music and have recently bought myself a guitar - I played music years ago, as a kid. I'm taking some lessons and it's my ambition for this year to learn how to play it properly:)
