This lovingly renovated three-bedroom 1799’s cottage offers space, privacy, and a perfect place from which to explore the Hudson Valley. Enjoy meals in the light-flooded kitchen or settle into the spacious living room or yard for some R&R.

Perfect for both retreating, or working--this house works well for couples, families or even larger gatherings of friends and extended families, with or without kids. Three private bedrooms all with doors and bathroom access, offer plenty of privacy for adults and young adult children. For families, children can enjoy the spacious backyard, toys, puzzles and plenty of safety and space.

The large kitchen countertop (with stools), kitchen table or desk nook in the living room provide a perfect work-from-home scenario for travelers looking to work remotely during longer stays. Settle in for sabbatical or even a quiet working weekend away from the city.

Spend a weekend in the quiet hamlet of Hurley, 90 miles north of New York City. A 10-minute drive to Kingston offers proximity to one of the Hudson Valley's prime farmer's markets, U-pick farms, bakeries and cheesemakers. Enjoy the restaurants, bakeries and shopping of charming nearby towns of Woodstock, Saugerties, Rhinebeck, High Falls and Hudson or take quiet drives down 209, stopping at the numerous farm stands and U-pick orchards and berry farms along the way. Summer is ripe with flea markets and yard sales along 209 and 28 toward Phonecia, rated one of the 10 coolest small towns in America. In the winter, make yourself at home by the fire and head out to the nearby ski resorts.
