Lovely and sunny studio on a 5th floor in a historical building with high ceiling and a beautiful balcony overlooking the famous Barberini Square and the fountain of Tritone.
Located in one of the safest areas of Rome, the apartment is just few steps away from all the major attractions such as the Spanish Steps and the Trevi Fountain.
The apartment is really central and very well connected; it is just outside the Metro stop BARBERINI.
The apartment can comfortably accommodate two persons, and is perfect for the couple looking for a prestigious apartment in the center of the city.
The apartment is very sunny and composed of a large room with master bed, sofa (sofa-bed), table, bathroom (big shower),kitchen corner, balcony, washing machine ( laundry room). There is not an elevator in this building.
The apartment is provided with a new powerful and modern air-conditioning system and high-speed WiFi Internet access.
Please note: the internet connection is not unlimited and is base on data transfer.
However if you need more, you can purchase more data: 20 euro for 10GB.
We really liked the layout of the place and the convenience of the location as it is literally 5 mins away from the Metro station. The view from the balcony is great if you want to get a few breathe of fresh air sometimes. The place is on the 5th floor through 109 steps upstairs so whenever we go back , it was good exercise for my partner...
Alessandro met us late in the evening on Saturday (we had a late flight), and it was very pleasant. In apartment you will have everything you need. Truly to say, we used only the fridge, 'cause the apartment's placement is wonderful: there are lots of good bars, trattorias, pizzerias and restaurants max 10 minutes walk. Staying by Alessandro was really like home away: I still have feeling, that I was home. Many thanks to Alessandro! Grazie mille!
Location is perfect!
Apartment is clean and has everything you could possibly need.
Alessandro was great and communication was excellent.
Thank you Alessandro!
Alessandro was an excellent host and I agree with other reviewers that this apartment is wonderfully situated in Rome - a fantastic location from which to start every day walking around this glorious city! And it's a comfy, homey environment to come back to at the end of the day - comfortable bed and lots of hot water, with beautiful sunshine streaming in (or not, if you choose to close the thick curtains) in the mornings.
The balcony gives a beautiful view of the Bernini's Tritone, you are steps away from Barberini metro stop, there is a taxi stand on the corner, and plenty of gelato and pasta right across the street. The thick windows keep the sounds out at night, and Alessandro left us plenty of little pastries for the morning.
I would say that the only drawback is that the apartment is on the 5th floor (6th by American floor counts) of a walk-up with pretty steep stairs - no lift! So once you are out the door, plan on being out for the day, because if you forget something you probably aren't going to run up and get it!
Alessandro was a good host. He met us at his apartment and helped us carry our luggage up the stairs . Apartment very clean , it has all the things that you need, it's walking distance to major attractions in Rome also has a great view from balcony.
15min walking distance to Termini station . Also 5 min away from Spanish Steps . Next time will be in Rome we will consider staying in Alessandro's apartment . Alessandro thank you for everything , we had wonderful time in Rome.
Listing exactly as specified. Very tidy, clean flat in a very central location. Balcony was a good feature and also the air conditioning worked very well as it can get hot!
We arrived past midnight due to flight delays, but Alessandro met us late to give keys which was very helpful.
