We love our guests and often share a morning walk and a good cup of coffee. The horses and Alpaca enjoy a visit too. I have just started a Dressage Dude Ranch for enthusiastic riders who want to take a unique vacation.

Sandy and her place are incredible! Unbelievable views and she was sweet enough to let us use the barn to record some music. I couldn't imagine a better experience. Excellent communication and immaculate place for a vacation! I would highly recommend to everyone. Thanks sandy!
The listing is accurate. The finest points of the home are it's location and outrageously beautiful views. The inner accomodations are pretty bare-bones. Great for fishing/hunting groups, but cook ware is minimal and decor is not the focal point. Good value for the money and location.
Stunning views from the vacation home overlooking the nearby horse farm and additional log home rental. Unique backyard earth-wall with birdhouses and chipmunk dens. Great experience with spectacular horses, and the resident horse-herding dog 'smash' was a welcome visitor.
The stay we had was great, it was warm and inviting. We enjoyed the view tremendously.
Sandy was very easy to communicate with and she allowed us to bring our dog which was a last minute change in our plans - we greatly appreciated this. She was there if we needed her otherwise she left us to enjoy her place and the area - which is beautiful. You can't beat the view from her place!
Once you have recovered from the magnificent view of the snow capped mountains, you realise how well equipped and comfortable this house is.
We experienced unseasonal rain during our four night stay. This was no problem as the house was warm, cosy and a great place to spend time. Sandy is a warm and friendly host, very much like the other residents of Ridgway who we lucky enough to meet
Sandy has equipped the house with everything you could want and she is available if you should need her.
We loved our stay in Ridgway-it is a very special place and Sandy's house is a very special residence.
If you want magnificent views of the Sneffles Range and the Cimarron Range from your front porch , this is the place for you. If you want your own little herd of deer and your own group of elk hanging around, this is the place for you. We loved our time here.
Sandy was a great host. She's proud of her property and it shows. She was available for us and always pleasant.
The rental was clean and comfortable. We felt at home immediately. There were the usual dishes and cookware, hand soap and shampoo and other amenities that you'd expect. There was also firewood placed in the fireplace ready to be lit and puzzles and games available for a rainy evening.
We enjoyed our road trips to Telluride, Ouray, and Silverton as well as exploring the Ridgway area. We would highly recommend Sandy's place and hope to visit again, sooner than later.
