About This Listing
This large and very private, upstairs loft apartment is in a landmark Art Deco building on the border of Silver Lake and Echo Park. It has hardwood floors throughout and is fully equipped with everything you need to make your stay comfortable. It has a large kitchen and bathroom, cable tv, wifi, lots of books, a dishwasher and lounge chairs on the deck. We've been renting the space out for four years now and all our guests have loved staying there. There is a reserved parking spot right by the entrance. The apartment is centrally located to hip Silver Lake and Echo Park there are many great restaurants nearby and easy access to the major freeways. It's ideal for families as well as couples or friends. We look forward to welcoming you here.
This is a non-smoking apartment, however, we do allow smoking on the deck.
We'd like our guest to take out the trash after their stay to the bins behind the building.
Please wash your dishes or put them in the dishwasher and run it.
All used towels and sheets can be put on the leather couch in the foyer.
Great sunny, space, just as pictured. Plenty of room for our group of five, it was a perfect base while visiting LA for a week. Also included some nice amenities: wi-fi, espresso machine, stocked spice cabinent, tv, towels and toiletries, etc.
Not much in the neighborhood within walking distance, but only a 5-10 minute drive from Echo Park/Silverlake areas.
Overall great experience!

This is a genuinely cool apartment and we had a lot of fun staying. The set up is perfect for a couple or a small group using the additional sofa beds. It's really nicely furnished and we felt very comfortable.
The apartment is close to a freeway which may be an issue if you are a light sleeper. However, this didn't bother us at all and the surroundings are actually very green. There's a uniquely secluded feeling about this apartment even though you are right in the middle of the LA. We loved the fact that we could have a beer on the deck when we came back from our night out without feeling like we were disturbing any neighbours.
You'll need a car if you're staying this property since it's centrally located but at the same time not really within short walking distance of anywhere. The is typical of LA but something to keep in mind if, like us, you are used to compact European cities with good public transport infrastructure. We had a car and found the location to be ideal.
We all left saying how much me would love to live here if we were in LA... Comfortably 5 stars! Highly recommended.
