  • The coach house was very cute, private and charming! Works perfect for one person or for a couple. Has everything you might need for your stay in an amazing space efficient way. Lovely neighborhood, close to different useful stores and downtown Oak Park, and the CTA blue line to get to the Loop. Chris was a great host, leaving lots of information about the area and answering every question. Was a wonderful experience!

  • Cozy and very comfortable. Ideal for one person and fine for a couple (just give the 20 gal. water heater a little time to recover between showers). We had one small electrical problem, but a text to Chris and it was fixed before we got back for lunch. The location is excellent -- we were visiting family nearby -- and the studio is within moderate walking distance (20 min?) of downtown Oak Park. If you're coming to Oak Park, this place will be hard to beat, and downtown Chicago is only 7 miles down the Eisenhower Freeway or the Blue Line.

  • Our stay in Oak Park was incredibly comfortable and enjoyable. The coach house was located in a beautiful and quiet neighbourhood that was conveniently located near the "L" line to get you downtown, a friendly Dunkin Donuts for an early morning treat, a pharmacy, and grocery store/gas station convenience stores. The coach house was also well stocked with all your needs and had an excellent kitchen. There was plenty of space for two people and we would stay here again in the future!

  • The Studio Coachhouse was fantastic. The location was perfect for exploring the Frank Lloyd Wright houses in Oak Park. Oak Park must have the most beautiful residential secrets in the world. We felt privileged to be able to feel like part of the neighbourhood for a short while. The facilities in the Coachhouse were perfect.

  • Cute coach house, with a nice Oak Park location. The kitchen was good, and there was lots of storage space for our stuff. Easy parking and bike storage were a plus. Chris was a good host, and the air conditioner performed nicely during our August stay. A few caveats: the wifi signal was weak in the coach house, but good enough on the home's front porch; if you're above average height, you'll need to watch your head, as the coach house ceiling is pretty sloped; the antennaed TV signal was intermittent and weak; and communication was occasionally a challenge. All in all it was a good stay.
