This accommodation is very much as described. Great experience to stay in a small temple and get a sense for the Buddhist and Zen life. Staff can communicate really well in English. Would recommend to others!

Very nice place, close to everything in takayama. If you stay in winter, beware, it will be cold inside. They provide very powerful heaters, but in the common space, it still is a bit cold. Just bring enough layers. Emmanuel
