Our Home is 5 miles from Oakhurst and 18.5 miles from Mariposa. We are right in the middle of two of the three entrances to Yosemite National Park.
We encourage guest's to start from our home on Highway 49 towards Oakhurst (Hwy 41) or Mariposa (Hwy 140) and make "The Loop !" into and out of Yosemite National Park.
Bass Lake is 14 miles, enjoy the lake.
We have spectacular views ! Great to come home to after a busy day of sight seeing! We have a very comfortable home. Spacious and cozy !

The space
The home is easy to access. We are located on Highway 49.
There is ample parking.
When arriving, we are the first drive way on the right, right after Fox Hollow if you are coming from Oakhurt.
From Mariposa we are right across the road from a red barn with green trim.
We have a very comfortable, kick back and enjoy the atmosphere.
Our goal is that you feel at home and want to come back.

Our home sits on 10 aches, so it is very private.
The views are spectacular !
Have coffee in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening, while enjoying the sunrise or sunset.
Our new 700 sq foot covered patio is stunning !
Star gazing is always waiting for you!

Other things to note
We are on a well. We request that guests be aware of water usage.
We have plenty of water but due to our resent drought, we are very aware that water is precious !
California has a high fire danger, no smoking, no fire arms, no fire works. Please be respectful.
We have WiFi for you. We want you to be aware that we are a rural area. As far as TV and internet there is no problem.
Just a reminder, we are on HWY 49.

Neighborhood highlights

Our home is perfect for those who want to enjoy the area. Yosemite is quite breathtaking and Mariposa is very historical. Oakhurt has charm. They are both worth visiting !
There are a few Bed and Breakfast close to us. We also have neighbors that live year round, we want to respect them.
We feel like our Home is a perfect opportunity to enjoy it all !
