About this listing
Hi! I'm renting out a room in my two-room apartment in Nørrebro. It's a quiet place right in the heart of trendy and multicultural Nørrebro neighbourhood. The room has been kept in its original style, which means wooden panels and cool details.
Notice: There is currently some restoration of the facade of the building, which means that there is some scaffolding outside the window, which blocks the view and less sun gets in. Also, there are sometimes carpenters doing repairs in the morning and they sometimes start as early as 7-8am.
There are two rooms and we're renting out one of them. This room has a double bed. There is a small homey kitchen, which you're free to use. Also, remember to check out my personalised guidebook :)
If you're interested, there's the option of renting a bike for 8 euros per day.
There's wifi, a kicthen, washing machine, dish-washer and parking in the street. If you're in a car, be careful about how you park, since the parking attendants are quite strict (no parking on corners or outside the yellow lines).
Interaction with Guests
I travel a lot, so often a good friend of mine, Sofus, will give you the key and sit down with you to give some tips on Copenhagen. There is also a guide book from the Danish publisher "Politiken". There's also the Lonely Planet guide on Copenhagen.
Nørrebro is Copenhagen's Kreuzberg. It is a vibrant and multicutural area of Copenhagen only 10 minutes away from the city centre on bike.
Trendy bars and small designer shops lie next door to local wine bars, dodgy dive bars and cheap kebab places. Very near Jægersborggade with coffee shops and art poster shops. Guldbergsgade with interior design shops and clothing. And Blågårdsgade with vintage clothing and great bars.
Very good music scene - with legendary Rust and underground rock/tech club Drone just 5 minutes away.
Lots of opportunity for food lovers with restaurants serving Thai, Caribbean, African, Italian and of course Danish traditional food.
You can also hang out in the green areas of Nørrebro Park and the old Assistens Cementary.
The apartment is 3 min. walk from Nørrebros Runddel, which connects to all areas of the city.
If you're arriving from the airport, you simply take the metro (yellow line M2) and get off at Nørreport. Then take bus 5A to Nørrebros Runddel. From there it's a five minutes walk to the apartment. In a taxi it'll be around 30 min from the airport and the price will be 29 Euro.
Other Things to Note
The shower is a little basic, which means that there is not a separate shower cabin in the bathroom. The shower head simply hangs on the bathroom wall and we'll show you how it works, though most people easily figure it out :)
Internet: You can find the name of the wifi on this page or on the cupboard in the kitchen :)
I'm pretty flexible and want you to feel at home, but no pets, partying or loud music allowed.
